I taught in a university in China for three years; 2015-2018, and I support RLlamas' narrative about China's fundamental/historical ideology. It's sad to say that most of my university students at the time had been conditioned to Xi Jinping's foreign/economic policy. A handful of Chinese professors and students stood otherwise. Their opposition against the majority was being held back in check by their silence, out of fear and survival. Thankful for Llamas in bringing out this political discussion to the open for Filipinos to weigh in and gain insight to the issue of Chinese aggression in the West Philippine sea. I agree with Sir Ronald Llamas assessment on China, but let me add that the pecularity of the Chinese philosophy whether it be democratic Taiwan or communist Beijing is that the quest for materialism is as equally sttong as their quest for spirituality. Western philosophy can distinguish wealth vs materialism. There is peace if spiritual growth is common among all whether you're an eastern or western nation. China should go back to their Confusian philosophy.
