This is what can be achieved when a Government spends the majority of Tax Payer's money ... on Tax Payers. Unlike USA where, more than half of the unaudited Tax Payers money goes into the pockets of Military Industrial Complexes CEO's and Administration staff ... and the BULK of the remaining half of the Tax Payer's money goes to topping up Private Corporations profits and making sure that Private Corporation's shareholders get their promised dividends. There is very little USA Tax Payers money left, every year, to spend on Civic Infrastructures and provide affordable Civic Services for all their Tax Payers. Hence why 70 Million USA citizens live in poverty and the rest live on pay-check by pay-check and will lose their houses if they can not make the next mortgage payments, or pay for the next medical treatment.

The Biggest Mega projects is not buildinng,airports and milion miles bridges....The Biggest Project of All Time - In the last 30 years, more than 300,000,000 Chinese came out of powerty!.. Just one word for the Chinese - BRAVO.

China will lead the world in all these vital areas because China has the money to do it. The Chinese economy is the backbone of these record-breaking construction and science projects. How does America ever catch up when Congress can't even agree on budget and deficit reduction???

When Singapore partner China for the Suzhou Industrial Park in 1992 it is intended to be a development demonstration project and not meant to make money out of it. Thus out of padi fields and lotus ponds in west Suzhou the industrial estate was developed with the bulk of the financing and staff coming from Singapore and eventually this completed project was "sold/return" back to China. As someone senior in the know told me it is a "national service", not because it is "not profitable".
