China Vs India - Country Comparison 2024 

No offence. Previously I had thought that both were sheetholes. However, after visiting both I overturned my opinion in China and confirmed my opinion in India. In China I visited Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzen, XI’An and Yunnan, I was amazed by how beautiful, advanced, clean, historical, diverse and friendly that China was. In India I enjoyed a wonderful trip there. However, how they treated their poor people, how they planned their cities and how they behaved dishonestly and so many chaotic and dirty slums made me sick.

Chinas GDP is 5 times that of india there is a gap of 30 to 40 yrs will see if this gap closes for remain the same but i think by 2035 indias GDP will touch 10 trillion usd but by that china will also reach upto 35 to 40 trillion and most likely the gap still be 4 times 😮 india can never became the china reason is the day america thinks of india as a threat to them then they will stop india in the same way they stop japan in late 1990 😮

This comparison makes more sense when it’s made between India & Africa or central American states. These countries are basically at the same level of economic development but China is at a whole different level or economic scale.! The comparison would be lopsided between India & China today.!

China GDP is 20.3 trillion dollars in 2024 not 18.5 trillion this was in 2022 and in 2023 it was 19.3 trillion dollars.

India must change. The country has the same population but China lags behind badly. The subcontinent has one-sixth of China's GDP per capita. India prides itself as the world's largest democracy. Very simple reason why India's GDP will never catch up with China. Because the difference between the two countries is too big, with (2023 GDP) China at $17.7 trillion and India at only $3.732 trillion. If India's growth rate for 2024 is 7%, then the growth will be $261.2b. If China's GDP growth rate is 4.2%, then the growth will be $743.4b, and that's $482.2b more than India. So, GDP for China in 2024 will grow to $18.443 trillion, while India will be only $3.994 trillion. If both countries' growth rates remain the same for 2025, then India's GDP growth will be $279.5b. China's GDP growth will be $774.6b and it it's $494.4b more than India. The difference between the two countries in 2025 will be increased by $12.2b. if the same growth rates for 2026, then the difference will be $12.3b. Therefore, unless China's economic growth rates falls to negative or stops growing from now on, or in total colapse. Otherwise, India will never catch up with China. China will only move futher away!

India is not under Moghul rule anymore, nor the above were "popular landmarks" even when Moghuls dominated for a certain period of time. Some landmarks that define India include: Ajanta and Ellora caves, 100s of beautiful and unique temples, including Puri, Konark, Kailasa, Hampi, Rameshwaram, Belur, Tirumala etc., ethereal landscapes of Meghalaya and Cherrapunji, Western ghats, forts in Rajasthan and palaces all over India, back waters in Kerala, rich cultures and traditions of rural India. These define REAL India, not Taj Mahal and definitely not Qutub Minar.
