The start was too slow for Suzanne. They picked it up and figured it out. The initial struggle is what makes it interesting. They did a good job capturing the vibe of the original version.
Whoa! Rough start there friends! I'm not at all familiar with this song but from what I can tell here, this is a hard song to sing. I can't tell whether or not they ever really get a hold of this one.
😳 Alas, I am now personally vindicated in a sea of understanding as to why I could never get into the dead. The Dead...with their extensive catalogue of flat lining melodies, forgettable lyrics and “Psychedelia” as high reaching as the Rocky Mountains of John Denver and the myth of “Musicianship” I was always told they atleast had....if only I heard them live, and on 3 hits of sunshine blodder acid....just got killed by an artist named Hitchcock and I don’t mean Alfred.....Robyn is his name...and he deserves ALL the fame that these guys should be beyond grateful to have thanks to their inability to give it where it’s due. Long LIVE Robyn Hitchcock!
It is truly a shame that they didn’t seem to have rehearsed this enough. I’ve seen Robyn Hitchcock live more than any other artist including the Dead! Check my channel if you’re a RH fan.
