Wow! This looks like a decent airport terminal. I was there some years ago and I can recall the airport there was completely different from what I see in the video. This is great for Zimbabwe. I hope the co-operation between Zimbabwe and China will lead to even better outcomes.

I will miss the old balcony where we used to sit and watch planes takeoff, taxi and park as well as seeing that big AGS building blocking the views sometimes, so i think it's now only the people travelling that will get a good view of the planes. This is an amazing development, wow! I cant wait to see an a380 for the first time landing here!

Airports Co of Zim should complement this awesome job done by the Chinese to market this development to so that it attracts more traffic. Chinese ambassador Huang Ping said the airport upgrading will include expansion of the international terminal building and aprons, installation of four new air bridges, a secondary radar system, the airfield ground lighting system, the communication systems and construction of a VVIP pavilion and new satellite fire station.
