I twisted a ball of 5m 0.25mm nichrome wire and placed it in the combustion chamber to expand the heat zone. Fuel vapor burns better as it passes through the high temperature zone. The effect was staggering. The fuel supply had to be restricted as it started to fail due to overheating. An aquarium metal tap had to be installed to limit fuel supply by 50%. Then the output has a 143c airflow at 1.6Hz and with 5l running in 27h in my variant. The fuel burns so well that there is almost no smoke from the exhaust pipe, only weak steam. I suggest you give it a try.
Had same issue but I ran a bit of compressed air through the intake at startup and IGNITION happened...plus a ton of white smoke but at least I didn't have to open her up. I ran it on lowest setting without running at high for the first 3 months and now know not to forget to burnout the soot with high for a couple of hours once a week. Had 6-7 failed starts with err #8
Appreciate you. Didn’t even have to do anything just popped it on high and seems to working fine now. I did the same thing ran it on low for the last 4-5 months. Hopefully I don’t have more issues I’m going on a trip tomorrow lol. Def ordering a backup in case anything that’s not a quick fix comes up
I just had E8 troubles, opened up the combustion chamber and found it insanely coked up. Cleaned that out, put it back together and it runs better than new..
I’ve one off these doing the same thing every time I top up or fill the diesel tank, I’ve found it seems to get air locked ,I pull off the pipe from tank to the fuel filter, blow out the pipe and away she goes. Hope it helps
When you crank it full it’s needs more fuel the filter being so close to the machine starves it a bit try moving the filter near the fuel tank so it can’t suck air in from the filter housing 👍 it might also be your fuel line inner diameter is to big and your loosing pressure through the pipe
Wouldn't be the exhaust to short it's fuel from the tank the filters that come with these heaters mark are crap put them in the bin filter from other end and just a thought is your fuel tank able to breathe so it not vacuuming are settings right fan speed pump settings ?
