For those of you who don't speak Chinese, let me tell you that this black guy's Chinese is outstanding! I guess this is understandable as a Masters degree student, but his mannerisms, local accent and ability to joke with them as the conversation ebbs and flows was surreal to listen to. I'm thoroughly impressed!

Actually, this is the real China - I lived there for two years and often had encounters like this - but usually with a translator (friend) as my Chinese is bad). Most Chinese are friendly and curious and I had some outstanding hospitality shown to me when I lived there.

This is an amazing exchange of cultures and dealing with stereotypes. I’m entirely impressed with the locals and look forward to meeting ppl like them in any country I visit. 💯💯

I like this guy, he’s very humbled, when they were complimenting his Chinese, he would always reply with just a bit, and then the part when they bring up penis size 💀 he basically said that in “corn” they mostly choose people with bigger ones, which is why, a majority of people think there’s all kinds of sizes, and then tells them pretty much that there’s bigs and smalls in every part of the world. 😂 The last part too about the muscles, that the guy was telling him that his race was very strong, he replies by saying anybody can be strong it just depends on if they workout or not (I’m paraphrasing) but that’s pretty much what he said, overall and very respectable guy, a lot of people seem to be full of pride for their country and people, but this guy was humbled, although he did call out the thing about the guy said that there’s a lot of war in African countries, but the guy tells him it’s not like that in every African country, and then at the end there, about the car and the 3 wives comment - I don’t need that, 1 wife is enough.

Please don’t be offended. They are genuinely curious of black people. These are probably the questions that you’ll get all over the world from people who are not use to seeing black people. Just be kind and understanding. Answer ti the best of your knowledge. It’s our job to properly teach the world about us.

As a Korean, I thought Koreans were brutally forward and direct until I saw this. Chinese seem to be more honest, open, and direct than Koreans are. I can not believe how they openly talk about dick size in front of a woman and a girl. Anyway, Chinese seem like very friendly and curious people. Their curiosity level is off the roof. I guess they will probably never see a black man again, so they made the most out of this encounter.

I was astudent in Beijing years ago and yes, people are friendly and nice .. curious about foreigners... Only bad thing is sometimes they treat you like an object or even a pet... Many dinner invites and invitations but eventually you realize some gain clout by knowing you... Not everyone is really your friend... But when you make a true friend in China they will be your friend for life and defend you from bad people and fake friends there. I love my Chinese friends and miss them.

It's easy to see the hunger for knowledge Chinese people have about other cultures. Living in the USA it's easy to take for granted how many cultures we are exposed to in larger cities. I'm constantly amazed at how curious Chinese people are of foreigners, I suppose because they don't see many. This kind of candid conversation would NEVER happen on a street in the USA.
