O my gosh these are so beautiful Cassis ♥♥♥♥♥ I love chinese lanterns on my plates but lacked ideas to use them, thanks for being such an inspiration and sharing all your amazing designs :)
+dtulip1 Thanks love! I first do on my right hand and if I like it, I'll go ahead and record the process on my left hand. If not, I'll either modify the design or give it up altogether :D
Very Pretty and original! Such a nice presentation of lanterns and the color combo is right on point...I will have to try the JOSS polishes....will check online....are they one coaters?
+juju55488 I bought JOSS polishes directly from the manufacture: nailsuperstore.com.au/product-category/boutiquelacquers/josslacquer/. They are Australian-based, and I'm pretty sure there are stockists overseas but don't know which ones. Might want to shoot them a message.
+mariyoreo Stampers: Messy Mansion Soft set (pink & maroon) & Fab Ur Nails. Stamping polishes: Pueen Cosmetics Super Intense polishes (work great, reasonably priced, good variety), Mundo de Unas (slow drying but some have strong smell), & Ya Qin An from Born Pretty Store. Stamping plates: Too many to name. Brands I mentioned above have good quality ones, although some Born Pretty plates may be shallow-etched. I also recommend MoYou London.
very classy and pretty. my nails are so short, that the designs never look as pretty as your originals. I have to eliminate the details. like on this one, I'll have to eliminate the black horizontal lines. Maybe once in a while you can throw out a tip for us gals that can't grow our nails long anymore .
+Carolyn Klans-Cerda I know what you mean. The string for the lanterns is a bit too long, so the whole lantern image almost didn't fit on my right hand nails (which are shorter than my left). I guess you have to make two separate decals for those two lanterns, and cut the string short to fit on your nails. As for growing out your nails, I apply cuticle oil and cuticle cream few times a day, and always have a manicure on (or at least a basecoat) so your nails have some strength, and not exposed directly to water. With the hot weather here in OZ, my nails keep growing!
