In this video, I show you how easy it is to create an epoxy beach with real sand and shells. I will show you how to achieve white surfing. These two beach pieces were inspired by sitting on the beach with family. I want to give them something to travel to the sea often. By using real sandy beaches in mainland China, not only can they remind them of their trips, but they also have a sandy ocean in their home. First, I painted the boards white to make them clean and tidy to help the colors stand out. Once dry (I waited for a few days), I started to mix the sand with the resin. Make sure I covered the sand with enough resin, then poured it directly onto the board and spread it out with a stick to cover the bottom of the board. Next, I mixed enough resin into two plates, divided it into three cups, and added color pigments (jade, turquoise, and sapphire) to each cup. Starting with the lightest colors, I poured the resin on the board and then gently mixed them with my fingers to create a ripple effect. After both plates were covered, I mixed a small amount of clear resin, then put a small amount into a separate cup and mixed it with the white pigment paste. Following the shape of the waves, I first poured the transparent resin into the line, taking care not to overuse the transparent resin, and immediately added a little white resin to the foam. Then, the resin was blow-dried using a hot air gun at a high temperature to disperse it, and then allowed to settle to form fine waves. Use transparent resin first, which prevents white and blue layers from mixing and separating them. It also allows the sand to leak out and works well. Finally, some shells were added to interest people.
