@@danasimpson8358Incorrect. Chinese are mostly naturally fair. However, tan easily in the sun, like Southern Europeans e.g. Italian, Spanish, Greeks. If they live in the northern temperate climate, they are very fair. Most people don't use skin whitening cream products and they don't bleach their skin either because there is no need to. They just keep out of the sun if they prefer to be fairer. The desire to be fairer does not equate to wanting to look more Caucasian. Traditionally, It stems more from emulating more well-off classes having a comfortable life, not having a hard life ; to work out in the sun all day and hence fairness implies you have a more comfortable and better life. These days people keep out of the sun more due to the health knowledge of sun damage, blemishes and aging.
