@@NobodyExpectsIE think it helps, but JL was putting in work before that. He got to 100K with no collabs or gimmick. Reason why Mark found him to collab because he highlighted the locals restaurant from Philly and the surrounding areas.
If you ever find yourself in Puerto Rico theres a restaurant called: Oriental China Restaurant in Toa Baja. Dominican born chinese chef, not too far from Bayamon. Worth the trip!
I’m Mexican and I can agree that PR offers so much on such a small island it’s a beautiful thing. The fact that I speak fluent Spanish makes my appreciation that much bigger.
I'm a Newyorican from the Bronx, I lived in Orlando for some time. Tbh it must be where those Puerto Ricans are at lol us Newyoricans need the onions and veggies in the rice. Those Orlando Ricans are different 😂 us NYC Ricans have our OWN culture and ways of doing things PERIOD ! and swag 😎
@@wilfredrivera6521 Puerto Rico is not Spanish and Hispanic and Latino until given back to Spain and getting independence only from Spain your Americans now speak English
🇵🇷 🇨🇳 That sounds delicious. You gave it the JL stamp 😃 And Yes! I love the veges in the rice too JL. Everything looked delicious 🙏🏽 I’m with the Mrs though, I could just eat shrimp lo mein by itself ❤ Infinite Blessings 🙏🏽
Thats my spot! I’ll go by Palacio Chino twice a week. Amazing food 🔥🇵🇷 now every time i order my rice I add bean sprouts, onion & lettuce and they do it but you have to add it.
Puerto Rican aren't Spanish and Hispanic and Latino until given back to Spain and getting independence only from Spain your Americans now speak English
@@arkblazer1 that's different the USA got independence from it's colonizer UK all of Spains colony's Got independence from Spain except Puerto Rico and Philippines which already gotten independence from USA July 4th 1946 remaining a USA colony forever Puerto Rico should be given independence only from it's colonizer Spain
This has me so beyond excited because I literally used to live in the neighborhood RIGHT THERE!! Their chinese food was amazing and when I rented over in that area, it was the main seller for me. Holy cow man!!!!!!!!!! I really hope I get to see you try more places in Orlando. It's so crazy seeing one of my favorite food youtubers over in my spot like this.
I always liked vegetables in my fried rice! Now that I’m fully plant based I love them. You have to go to Puerto Rico and do some vids. I visited San Juan in the beginning of the year and found some amazing restaurants.
Thats our little PR/ Chinese secret hahaha glad you guys liked it there are a couple places here in Orlando Puertorican chinese fusion spots that are banging my local one is called Palos Chinos chefs kiss 🤌🏼
Looks like a good portion size of tasty foods! In Puerto Rico you see Chinese restaurants almost everywhere you go. But their fusion is backwards compared to Chino Latino in Florida. You're more likely to see classic PR dishes like Mofongo with fried rice of whole snapper with noodles. Crazy how it works, but very satisfying and complimentary foods. It's all GOOD!!!
Well there are Chinese people in every Latin American and Caribbean country so there is Chinese fusion with every country. PR, DR, Cuba, Jamaica, Surinam, Trinidad, Mexico, Peru etc.
The only vegetables you'll find in Puerto Rican style fried rice are lettuce (yes, lettuce) and green onions (in some places, not all). So this place seems pretty legit.
Came to Orlando for Cinco de Mayo. Enjoyed my mini vacay. Went to Palacio Chino. Cant wait to try food. Ordered Pepper steak, rice, egg roll, & tostones.
I’m Rican and fried rice must have all the veggies It’s a lot of older country bumpkin Ricans that move to the neighborhoods and don’t like change so they teach their children the same thing. We call them jibaros or hillbillies but we also have a lot of getto jibaros which is worse
I am from PR living here in Fl and Chinese food without veggies is not Chinese rice... we go to one that it is in ocoee that taste so yummy. Also is New York Puerto Rican style.... Now I have to go there to taste just the meat 😊
It was an absolutely pleasure to have you at my old restaurant. Definitely appreciate the love !!!! JL is no joke eating man I can’t be in these videos I can’t hang 😂😂😂
Everything looked so good! I wish they were in California! You need a bigger fork or spoon sometimes, haha 😊! Thank you for taking us on new food adventures!
There was a Palacio Chino in Brooklyn NY. This was our favorite spot back in the 1990s. Pork chops with. Fried rice!..Chinese food with a PR twist . Thanks for putting me on. I didn't know theres one close to me..
I definitely gotta have the scallions in the rice; gives it that crunchiness. All that food looked great. Never seen the tostones sliced at an angle like that. The garlic sauce is a necessity . Great place !
The hood fusion food spots be the greatest. Back in my college days we used to have this Mexican Japanese place near us, mf’s could get burritos & sushi in the same order we was living 😅
The best part of chino puertorrican food, btw first time I heard that 😂, its that you always share, almost every of those places puts a lot of food in your plate!!!
I am not a Latino a Chinese Canadian living in Canada growing up in Canada but the takeout you are presenting here are just 2ND to none so indulging sumptuous appetizing just making my mouth water I have been to San Juan several times on vacation food there is just phenomenal makes no difference Chinese / Puerto Rican as long as they are tasty that,s all it matters
I live just down the street where this spot is. This restaurant has been around ever since I was a little kid. Food is pretty solid, I don't eat here too regularly because just 2 miles away is a better Chinese spot (in my opinion) called China Brother.
In Manhattan many years ago they use to have so many Cuban-Chinese restaurants and all of them are gone. One joint on 78th and B'way use to give you 3 huge pork chops. I had so many great meals at these places. I think they closed down because of gentrification.
Ohhh man Bomb. I'm like JL. Gotta have some veggies first. The East Coast food is unbelievable. Fusion. General so? Chicken. Chinese influence. And Latin. Fried chicken. Wooo. ❤❤😋😋😛😝👍👍
This place isn't too far from me. There's another spot in Kissimmee called Puerto Chino that's been there for awhile. I may have to check this spot out some time.
