I used to live in Germany 🇩🇪. No matter how well you speak their language it doesn't buy you any favours. But it is worse if you can't speak it. Many Germans are sensitive to foreign accents. I am certain Fel doesn't speak with Chinese accent but they welcome him with open arms. I didn't feel welcome in Germany despite studying in Germany and speaking fluent Deutsch. I really love Chinese people and l applaud their hospitality.
