fortune cookies isnt even chinese. They only serve ut in american chinese food, because in china theres no fortune cookies.btw you can find authentic chinese restaurants outside of china and they dont serve fortune cookies. Also the pork filled "dumplings" are actually called pork buns. Spring rolls are american chinese food as well. Mochi ( moe_chee )is japanese not chinese.( it was japanes on the package not chinese) sticky mango rice is also thai.

Good job mama! 💜This looks so fun, and everything looks delicious. 😁And definitely a learning experience! My daughter, who is 12, is obsessed with all things Japanese ! I take her with me to the Asian market a lot and pick out the goodies there and we fix a lot of Asian food at home and of course she has to eat all her meals with chopsticks. 🍣We have those little spoons also and I'm sure you noticed the array of the nice fancy chopsticks they have there, for her birthday this year, I got her a full set of these cute little Gudetama chopsticks that I found at Barnes & Noble. 💚😳

Oh no a lot of people make this mistake but you actually don't have to put the rice paper in water that long for it to soften, just soak it in and get it right out, it will soften while you put the filling in. I love your videos btw😍

Mama is from Thailand.The easiest way to cook is add boiled water over the noodle in the bowl,add the garlic oil(the liquid pouch)and seasoning pouch.Add chili pouch if only you need it to be more spicy but I think it's tasty without it.after add boiled water cover the bowl with plate or pot lid for 2-3 mins until the noodle become soft.mix everything together and enjoy. Another way to cook is add a cup of water in the pot,then mix noodle,seasoning pouch in the pot till it boiled and you are done.sounds easier but it can be over cooked sometimes. For healthier choice add green onion,chopped carrot or veggies you like,your choice of protein . Mochi is fro Japan Sweet Tamerin for snack.Sour for cooking. You can Buy "sticky rice" (add coconut milk ,sugar)to eat with mango.Not Jasmin rice. I'd say this is "Asian food" instead of Chinese. I really enjoy your cooking ideas.I can't imagine myself cooking western food.😆

First of all I want to say I love love love watching your videos! I want to be friends! Lol! My second older sister is married to a guy that is Vietnamese, but he was born in the U.S., the only time I've gone with my sister to her in-laws they served "spring rolls" it was served with shrimp, matchstick cut carrots and cucumber, rice, and a peanut sauce that I loved! I believe there was sliced pork too! The peanut sauce was used to dip! I loved going over there!
@EmNgBa
@EmNgBa 6 лет назад
You should make Vietnamese food. It’s so easy 😁 like “spring rolls” or also known as a summer roll. It’s basically veggies in a rice wrap. The Lumpia is from the Philippines.

😂😂😂 oh my gosh I got to your spring roll part. I’ve never had that kind of spring roll before. My family usually does a savory kind. We either eat it with peanut sauce or fish sauce.

Pork Buns!!! 🤤 They sell them in TJs 😉 When we went to China we didnt come across anything too sweet/dessert. Black bean (sweet version) is really popular. Room temp water in restaurants & you have to ask. Obv if youre a westerner, bottle is the way to go. Tea’s are more common than water. Even the vending machines dispense room temp 😝 Tamarind is big in the Caribbean. I am Puertorican & we make juices & icee’s out of them 🙃 #WadSquadForLife

Mi an Lien is actually Vietnamese name for Ramen(which is traditional Japanese Noodle), so I think it's Vietnamese style Ramen. if a noodle has 'Mein' in its name, then it's Chinese, like ChowMein or LoMein, as Mein means noodle in Chinese :)
