Gaofeng Town is located in the southeast of Pingba District, Anshun City, Guizhou Province. It retains many factories and residential buildings from China's Third Front Construction Period (Western Development) in the last century. These old houses are still inhabited by people, mostly elderly people

Always nice to see a town like Gaofeng to remind us of the past and the people living in the town, Hopefully the State & Prefecture Government will be able to renovate the town & provide new residential properties and roads. Its amazes me what China has done in many rural areas and hope Gaofeng won't be forgotten .

Mountains formed by karst landforms, regular structures formed by geographical phenomena. The town's name is Gao Feng, which translates to peak.

China es muy (muy) grande y no todo el país se ha desarrollado de igual manera, está provincia es de las más pobres pero no hay duda de que el trabajador pueblo chino seguirá progresando año a año. Yo particularmente le encuentro cierto encanto a estas poblaciones aunque en el futuro se verán diferentes.
