Thank you. The chinese wels has been in this tank for about 8 months now and I hoped it would continue, but our peers, who reported theirs to be very hard on tank mates, were right after all.

Wels and Chinese wels are different fish. Wels is not available from anywhere in the US. Chinese wels is available through Predatory Fins, or sometimes from Wesley Wong of Rare Fish. Perhaps some other vendors bring it too.
