Deng Deng’s pronunciation of “Guangdong” Mandarin (it is very different) is very helpful for me especially when she leaves out the 儿 on some words. This is the only video series I have found that demonstrates these differences.
Thank you dearly for your lessons and effort! I've re-started learning Chinese after years of not learning it and now I'm determined to get to fluency and I work towards it as hard as I can. Your videos help me a great del in learning Chinese. They are professional, yet easy to understand. I tip my hat to you! But there is one thing that boggles me: what is the difference between 了 and 过 when used in sentences in the past tense? Is 了 kind of "simple past" and 过 the "past perfect", or is there something more to it? I'd be very grateful if you could explain the difference between these 2. Thank you, rather comprehensive but not quite there becos the actual word placements are not shown before the right English translation making it very difficult for a newbie, especially one who is self teaching / learning to understand word placement.... If you could look into this... Then your tutoring is 1st class. Y I say this becauce I'm self learning through the utube vidoes myself.... However I would really like to say I appreciate the work/effort that u'd put into this vidoe. She (tutor) speaks clearly n slowly for us to hear n then repeat again with her.... Thank you.

Every other everyday confessed I've seen is correct. I noticed missing letters and it messes up understanding other than that i understand other videos very well
