My husband was a flight engineer on Chinooks for 20 years in the Army. Pulling climbers alive and dead off Mt Rainier, and helping fight fires dunking water out of the Columbia River. To the day he died he could tell when a Chinook flew over our house from a Huey, Apache, Cobra, Black Hawk etc. I watch these videos with pride and sadness. Pride in the power and strength in our US military and my beloved’s part in it, and grief he is gone. 🇺🇸😪🇺🇸😪🇺🇸
Living close to a military training area sometimes i have chinooks flyover so low the rattle the windows etc. Best feeling is the deep bub bub ramming trough your chest
They came just over our house a couple of minutes ago, we headed the dark brown noise from far and were wondering what is was. then they came nearby, I get goosebumps all over.just a great sight to see them so near to our home in the Northern of the Netherlands.Zandeweer
