I wouldn’t say top 3 because they all sick in their own way but def amongst those at the top.. chip I think is best at spraying bars.. delivery, energy.. other guys like wretch are smooth with with it. Chips fire in the booth 4 is mad🔥

“Spitter or GOAT Still get curried and boxed” Goat is abbreviation for greatest of all time and obviously goat curry for Jamaicans and then “curried” play on words of “carried” and “boxed” when the curry is boxed play on words with punching “boxed”. Also he mentioned Dave “feeling like Santan Dave” referring to how popular he was when he was Daves age. Santan Dave is Daves actual stage name. But yeah Chip is from my hometown and when he first came to the scene everyone in school was talking about him. He’s one the top spitters in the country and is famous for diss tracks too

Chip was huge in the UK when he came out with that freestyle but after a while he went pop and abandoned that fast flowing grime sound. Then he went states after getting signed to T.I. but people in the UK weren’t fuckin w/ that. Then he came back in 2015 and started beefing Bugzy Malone (look up their beef) and proved to everyone he could still kill it on grime tracks. He’s put out a few projects since then but he’s just chilling right now with the respect he got from the scene in 2015-2016 His comeback track was Chip - Fright Night Freestyle where he spat on the Chiraq beat, you gotta react to that

One thing you have to understand about artist in the UK, most lyricist have got many flows and can ride any beat. Most MC's come from a grime background which is 140 bpm.... If you nice on 140 bpm then you have no problem flowing on slower tempos. Majority of UK spitters are tempo specialist 👍🏾

What Grime is about. Who is the best on the mic 🔥 This beef is one of the most know because of what it did for the scene and the traction it had behind it. Before this beef Chip had come back from Atlanta and taken a break from music. His fire in the booth was basically an invitation to any MC who wants beef they can have it (lyric beef). Bugzy saw and took it as an opportunity and diss Chip in his FITB (Nobody really knew bugzy before this). Then it began.... P.S They are friends now.
