This “Palm Copper” 1974 Jaguar E-Type Roadster was created by none-other than Chip Foose. Starting with the front, he created custom bumpers, fabricated the hood with a scoop and the grille and redesigned headlights. The entire rear portion of the car was reshaped including the deck lid, fenders, moldings and bumpers.
The engine compartment was designed to house an LS3 with a ram air intake paired to a 4L65E automatic transmission. The stock suspension was narrowed by 4 and 6 inches, respectively, to make room for the wider tires which are wrapped around unique, one-off faux spoke wheels.
The streamlined interior features modernized Smith gauges set in a custom two-piece dash and a custom Series One steering wheel. The build also features Baer brakes and a hand-crafted Magnaflow dual exhaust system.
