Yes it can be connected to any ground for measurements. The positive probe to connected to motherboard 👍

There could be various reasons not just one... For that u first need to understand the logic and Concept of the signal, clock , address and data communication between the SIO, PCH RAM and CPU loop.😊

I have same board with graphics But it is having short in 5v Output and also short 5v regulator ic. I am anable to find short ......can u help me.

Check by injecting 5v at the coil output of the board then see which component is Heating. Or you can watch shorting videos on our channel.👍

I had injected 5 v then pu10 is heating too much. After that i had removed pu10 and thererafter still short ....
