I'm trying to figure out what's wrong with me. The top of my forearm closest to the elbow definitely feels bunched up and shortened, and often is tender or aching. I get a kind of burning irritation throughout the back of my hand and wrist, but also have pain on the bottom side of my arm about 2-3 inches below the wrist. My flexibility in my wrist is definitely limited, basically holding my arm straight out with hand extended in any direction causes a stretching sensation. The actual "pain" does tend to be concentrated in the hand and wrist, but my entire upper body is very tight, including chest, shoulder, neck, forearm, and wrist. I don't really feel numbness or tingling as if something is asleep... more like irritation and pain associated with inflammation. I have been told burning feeling is nerve pain, and it does feel like it burns across the back of my hand. I'm on the computer the vast majority of my time though I am trying to use good ergonomic practice. Any suggestions, deductions, or familiar anecdotes would help!

Did you figure out what your issue was?? I have this EXACT issue and it’s slowly ending my career as a drummer.

@@CRodsnare same thing here! What really makes me shocked is that till 2021 doctors even with MRI can’t diagnose simple thing like that or they are just don’t care 🤷🏻‍♂️

So how exactly radical tunnel is being treated then with chiropractic care can you please share this information? I was misdiagnosed with bilateral epicondilitis but in reality I had radial tunnel problem with both arms, therefore when they try to treat me for tennis elbow treatment naturally did not work...any input will be appreciated, thank you!

@ Bozkurt Bozok Hello, I see you had Radial Tunnel Syndrome about 3 years ago. I have, like you had, recently discovered my issue is Radial Tunnel and not epicondilitis. I was hoping you might be willing to tell me if you were able to rehabilitate, and perhaps some tips for me or tell me what worked the best for you as far as treatment goes. I'm tired of having this, and I want to get better, so if you've got any tips I'd be all ears and very appreciative.

@@Denigrate123 hey Jeff. It has been over 3 yeard I have this and posted desperately on many videos they eithet ignore you or don’t offer any solution and talked to different doctors, therapists they all offer vague solutions don’t help at all. Problem with radial tunnel syndrome is the fact that it is often confused with tennis elbow-lateral or bilateral epicondilitis. And radial tunnel syndrome is one of the hardest to get diagnosed and because of wrong diagnosis and treatments are not efficient because of that. I have seen at least 5 doctors some say it is radial tunnel some say i have bilateral epicondilitis. So friggin frustrated with this still. They sent me to New Orleans to get tested. The test is called nerve conduction test, they insert needles on your arm and shock you and they look at graphics to see what you have. Problem is god damn doctor over there is too cocky and total snob doesn’t even come do the testing, he instead let’s this test to his students or interns and most of them are clueless, during my test the god damn student was so confused he was constantly opening his book to see what chart means, constantly going to ask the doctror but that so called doctor never bothered to come and check what is going on. I got so much upset that I went to talk to him to see what I have he pretended he did not hear me because he acts like he is above everything and everyone and I had to raise my voice for him to hear, then he half ass turned to me and rolled his eyes and looked at me and acted like why I am bothering him if I have questions I should ask students…This dude is over there years the guy limping, if you ever need to see someone don’t ever go there. So long story short one doctor said this other that. Had to go physical therapy and occupational therapy about 2 months with zero help. Did not even get a relief. Felt like waste of time. Recently went to a hand specialist at Thibideux Louisiana and they gave me Dexamethasone 4mg- 1ml Lidocaine 1%- 2ml shots on both arms and I felt relief after god knows how many years for like maybe a week and then all came back. I don’t want to discourage you but I figured this will stay with me. I have so many conditions like bilateral golfers elbow, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel, I think all of them keep triggering each other. Also I have this carpal tunnel on both hands years and hands werr getting numb so bad that had to see a doctor. March 2 of this year I have been given 1ml kenalog and 1 ml lidocaine and this completely helped me and all the numbness completely gone. So it has been 5 months so far no problems on carpal tunnel but the doctor said it may come back, or it may not. So I started paying attention to how I sit, how I use my hands, how I put my hands and where, how to sleep, how to use computers and this all helped a bit. I use vertical mouse. When I sit on chair I mske sure I do not lay my arms on the chair arms and put pressure on it, when I use my arms to use laptop I do not put pressure on my wrists, I position laptop and of I need to type I try not to put strain on my arms and don’t stretch much to a point it has this stupid burning sensation on upper part of my arms. I take much frequent breaks, I watch what I eat, I watch my diet and cook at home try to eat as healthy as possible. I juice, and drink water only. I cut the bread, sugar completely out of my life, I stretch my arms excercise and stretch my neck( all problems are because of the neck issue trust me, all those nerves starting at neck area) and I walk everyday. Yes it is still there yes it still hurts, it bothers me a lot, mskes me extremely unhappy but I think unfortunately I learned to live with this god damn crap. So this is as detail as possible whay happened, I know this is not what you want to hear. I am sorry not to be able to tell you hey it is completely gone. But the things I started doing lessening the strain I think if you pay attention and listen to your body it can somewhat diminish the situation. In the meantime I have another 2-3 months physical therapy session is coming up but because of pandemic I keep delaying it. Please you or anyone for the love of god if you find a solution update here. Hope this helps someone, even though really none of the things I said was a solution to my problem, and my problem still there as of today. (sorry for the long read, didn’t want to ignore you like others do, as someone like me been suffering this long I know if you post this you are also desperate to find a solution)

@@bulvic2223 i got sidetracked and forgot to reply you. My symptoms are still there but mostly less, it increases when I have to sit infront of computer and work and try to design. What really helped me is-this part is extremely important and crucial- be always but always aware of your body and listen to your symptoms and watch exactly what you are doing and what exactly is making your arm or symptoms worse. What does that mean? You know how we do routine daily things at work or daily life without thinking? It is almost like automated? Yea stop that, and think before you do, and if something or an act bothers your hands or elbow or whatever it is, please change your position and find a better and easier way or angle to do what you need to do. Because sometimes we for example work on something and we don’t really realize something is bothering our arms or hands during the work because our mind is somewhere else, or thinking different stuff, just focus on your arms and find a most comfortable way of doing things. For example my laptop is on my large desk and when I need to use laptop I lean and put stress on my arms, later this became chronic. Now when I need to design, I put my laptop on my lap, a soft but firm pillow under my arm and use my arm in a natural position like mostly 90 degrees and don’t stretch or lean, take frequent breaks, if I need to use mouse frequently I use vertical mouse, stretch my arms and hands, neck area frequently. I know these were too specific examples but if you pay attention to your body, your body responds you well. Also I started eating more vegetables and started losing weight and juicing adding fresh turmeric inside the juicer that helps on inflammation. Hope this helps. If anyone else found a way to fix this cursed illness please share here. Thanks
