Yes! I agree with social media becoming a bit too fake. My channel has been a very slow growth and I think its because I'm just my authentic self and its not trendy or "out there". Buuttt..... imma keep doing me! Thats one of the things I love about your channel. Im not looking to be trendy but I hope my "tribe" finds me.... Keep doing you boo! Trends fade but classics are forever and Brittany, you are a classic! 🥰💕

I haven't watched a makeup tutorial in forever but I enjoy hearing your pov on things and I enjoyed this video so much:). I definitely will forever be a youtube girly over all the other apps because I feel like the longer videos give ppl more of a chance to be themselves and gives the viewers a chance to get to know them better. Verse like a 30 second tik tok or reel.

Hi Brittany, what I love about you is that you are authentic. There is nothing wrong with these other influencers who are buying these expensive bags and going on trips but after a while it just begins to get old and has a fake appearance. Multiple streams of income is the way to go. You can own property, have a 9-5 and still do RU-vid. Love ❤️ your channel , it’s real life!

Hey love! I am a silent watcher but I felt the need to comment. This video was needed. I felt everything you said. We live in a world were we are brainwashed to not to be able to think for ourselves. I often say “Am I the only sane person!?” We all have a story that resonates with our audience. I felt that way when I started my channel. Im like, you telling me I got to bring drama online, basically not wear clothes to trend! No mam. It’s sooo hard going the scenic route but it will be well worth it in the end. I have literally been at 900 followers on IG for a long time and under 400 subscribers here. I know I create great content but I will keep going. We are doing it right sis. Never sell your soul to be anyone else. Being our authentic selves will connect us to our authentic audience. 😘

Heyy, completely agree with you. It seems like most persons only promote brands because they’re being paid but not giving honest reviews. I don’t have as much following as you but YT and the algorithm is annoying! It’s like only the bigger YTbers are getting the views…no matter how good our content is…but like you said it’s a passions so keep doing what you’re doin
