She actually seems different from the rest. She has a positive attitude while others complain and whine. She seems determined to lose weight. Good for her

This is the first person on this show that has put so much effort into her cleanliness, hair, make up and clothes. I hope she gets to her goal and we see a update.

20 years ago Chitoka was the best daycare/preschool provider my kids ever had. She & her mother were the nicest people with big hearts. Came across this video by chance. Hate to see this. Wish her the best with the weight loss journey.

This woman is genuinely trying to improve her situation. I commend her efforts. My heart broke when she realized she couldn't make it all the way to the van. She had tried so hard.

The moment when she was in the rain and she said... “I haven’t felt this in years.” That moment was so wholesome yet saddening

It’s crazy because the energy she put in walking back to the door is the same energy she could of put in getting to the car but it gets better over time

At least she’s willing to put in effort,unlike some of the other people I’ve seen on this show.

She tried SO HARD! Most of the time the people in this show whine after 2 steps but she kept pushing and trying. I'm honestly so impressed. Even when it rained she took it as a positive and took a moment to enjoy feeling the rain against her. I have a feeling she's going to be a success story.

She tries, she thinks about it, she sees the flaws in her actions, and enlists in help to keep herself clean and respectable to match who she is on the inside because she truly is worth the effort. I think she can do it.

I have mad respect for Chitoka. She knows she got this way on her own and no one is going to lose the weight for her. That is a major step up from how the patients on these shows usually act

To those saying, 'why didn't she use a wheelchair' or stuff like that : the WHOLE point was to get her to WALK. THAT was her goal for the day. To those saying, 'why did she let herself get to this point' or it's her fault for getting to that level' : listen, there are too many reasons why people fall into such states. Some people can break their leg just standing up when they're overweight. I cant imagine how much discomfort shes going through, its nice to see that she tried to endure it though. Good on her!!

I had a cousin who recently passed at the beginning of the year who was about her size (maybe a bit smaller) and her attitude for life was similar to hers. She’s trying and to see this woman work as hard as she is with the positive attitude she embodies warms my heart. I’m rooting for her. Edit: she did not pass BECAUSE of her weight... She developed pneumonia.

I would have back the van over the curb and pulled up damn near to the front door. Therefore she would be able to preserve as much energy as she can to get in.

This woman is amazing! Most people like her mostly whine and groan But this woman is actually trying! She is a really determined woman that is trying her best to lose weight. And she's really inspirational for people that are like her.

My dad is overweight/obese. I always walk super slowly (I'm naturally a speed walker) when I walk with him, because I realise that he's carrying a couple hundred extra pounds around wherever he goes. As fit & active as I am, I'm not as strong as Chitoka. I could never carry 400 lbs from her front door to her driveway, or even halfway without wheels. The fact that she could carry so much weight as far as she did impresses me. She's a STRONG woman! I wish her luck in her journey. 👍🏿👍🏻👍🏾

You know what she might’ve not made it to the van BUT she made it outside and felt the rain on her skin. She can try and go to the doctor tomorrow, it’s a new day

The thing that sucks is she could have made it to the car because the distance she traveled and then ended up turning around and going back was probably further than what she had left to get to the van

As a fitness trainer, I believe that we need to encourage fitness to communities and have them participate in workouts. That would be nice.

To all those people saying, “Oh she is being over dramatic about walking! I know she ways a lot but still.” PEOPLE! it’s her carrying hundreds of pounds, when she has hardly got up in years. If you were there, would you be supportive, or say that. Just keep that thought to yourself. Just imagine if that was you, how YOU would feel. Then you would not think that.

i am not going to say anything negative .... she got up and tried which is the more than what most of these people do.... i say that she should try to do this at least 2 times a week then 3 times a week to build up her muscles.
