I've been doing this music ish since I was 4 years old! I'm a model, singer, actress, rapper, producer, I played a clarinet, saxophone, still play piano ( playing notes/songs by ear), learning guitar, the steal drum, etc...I know music when I hear it! Period. This young lady is a very good musician/performer, but I must say so myself AGAIN, she was everywhere singing. This was not one of her best performances she did hit them high notes, but most of the time it was off and just everywhere!! Smh
The difference between this and mtv is shes being more chloe than a performer and just having fun. Also she probably just sung like 5 complex ass songs with halle right before this was on the setlist, mtv she just walked out there with the energy already present, It’s not that serious
She was all over the place vocally …she is great but she gets too excited I don’t blame her but she needs to slow Down and really enjoy the process and the moment she’s in cuz she be rushing vocally through the song

Tbh I think she might have over done her runs which made it hard for her to control the next note, even so I like this performance far more then than the VMA's if felt more authentic

I like Chloe and her music, but after😂 1:08 1:09 and so on..... 🤔☹🤦🏽♀️ no no no she did a little too much, and it just didn't sound good (to me) at all. I don’t really like when she performs this song in general in my opinion I think she over sings it , it sounds breathy, and even tho the dance is cool (like her last performance) it still looks sloppy. This is my opinion on this song performances so far… normally I loveee to see her work tho 🤍🤍🤍🤍
I agree..I actually think she starts to get over excited and needs to learn how to balance all that energy and have better choreography prepared so she's not winging it too much because then it looks unprofessional and amateur like..BUT with that being said, we know she has a gift.. she's just a unique star in training.

There’s a channel called "Lesage Singing" where he reacts to vocal performances from various artist. He reacted to Chloe x Halle's Verizon performance and he talked about how she purposely sang off key to add a rebellious edge to the song. I would advise you to check it out.
@@catfrancis217chloe is literally 2 years younger than me and she’s 23. I spent my teens watching her, and she herself confirmed both that Beyoncé is her idol, but also that she tries to emulate her as well.
