"US food supply." Let's not be limited to relying on corporations to feed us, but let us work for freedom from these issues by learning to produce our own food.
Chlormequat has been around and used on non food crops for a long time. They know the risks. This seems like it should have criminal implications, not just civil for this public endangerment.

Yep. It's been around and they know how bad it is. Banned all over the world. And one of the fist things Biden did as president was to make it legal, not only to keep using it in the US, but also to now allow it to be sprayed from the air over crops. What a disgrace.😭

Dont you mean stripping the office so that rich buddies can make more money its not the governments fault when the far right shrinks the office to protect cronies
In these cases this usually goes hand in hand with corruption where lobbyists and lawyers of cooperations influenced the decision making process. Yes there are then some people in government that criminally fucked up, but not all of them all the time.
Don’t be so quick to declare things like this to be complicated, multilayer, evil plan type stuff… it is usually just profit motive without any concern for consequences on consumers. They don’t care about you & it makes them more money - simple as that, 99% of the time.
It’s in the food because capitalism wants it in the food. Whatever makes the “farmer” more money and is allowed is what makes it end up in our food. Who is the “they” you are referring to? The EPA is supposed to protect us but Trump appointed heads of government agencies who wanted to ensure those agencies wouldn’t do their job protecting American people, and would help huge corporations instead. The EPA can’t do its job when its hands are tied.
So capitalism is the problem? Does that mean that communist countries only grow organic foods? Try thinking rather than repeating other people's rubbish. And I suppose our EPA isn't corrupted.
Most people are too stupid, incompetent and greedy, and as the narcissists that they are, will fall to the lowest common denominator to make their gains out of exploitation. For some it is power, others control and wealth, then of course some want fewer on the planet. It is a pyramid of narcissists and disciple scientists and minions in media are the ultimate tools for politicians, government and corporations to carry out their evil agenda against humanity.
@curiousbystander9193 Maybe you think so, but wef has already established that only 800 thousand are required to look after the elites. The rest of humanity is disposable.
@kaaspakhuis438 you're being censored. I know I am, this is happening when I make comments lately, especially on controversial things that are considered taboo.
The EPA seems more worried about a puddle of water on a cattle ranch than things that really matter. If they worked on things like this many more Americans would support them, instead of hating to even hear their name.
WHAT if that puddle runs thru the shit of say 10000 cows and empties into a pristine salmon river ? But of course a religious zealot conspiracist probably thinks thats god way right?
The EPA is infiltrated by Marxists. The goal is to transfer power to a one-world communist government. This means you utilize "climate change" as an excuse to hurt the people and structures that strengthen countries until they submit, including the food supply. This is what the EPA has been dedicated to since at least the Obama maladministration, destroying Republican-voting ranchers and farmers, disrupting ranching and the supply of meat, and instituting federal land grabs as much as possible in order to stifle economic growth in Republican-dominated states. Crush the foundation of a nation's food supply and eventually, it will fall, allowing the new communist utopia. Think I'm crazy? I'm not gluing my hand to concrete or destroying irreplaceable works of art as a means of destroying a nation's history and heritage. That's being done in the name of "climate change" too.
The EPA was overhauled by one of our presidents. The agency had all the environmental leaders removed and replaced by Monsanto's people. It's non existent as an environmental agency.
It’s pleasant not only to read a good comment but also see “than” and “their” being used correctly (implies a good education, thus increased credibility in a comment)

Hi Charlotte... Cheerios has probably become much more tainted and contaminated over the years. Plus, since your aunt was born in the 1920's, she didn't grow up on chemical, industrial foods during her critical FORMATIVE years -- which makes a MASSIVE difference to one's health later in life... Chemical agriculture really took off after WW2, and soil mineral depletion (significant nutrient depletion in crops) plus hoards of toxic inputs have really taken their toll. Plus children today get plowed with toxic pharmaceuticals & interventions, EMFs etc. which further compromise immunological and neurological health.

I called Quaker Oats about the levels of Round Up in their oats a decade ago after reading how farmers were spraying it on the oat crop to speed up the dry down of the oats to get to market sooner. I was given a canned response from the customer service person how they met all federal regulations concerning glyphosate in the oats. She would not say what levels were in their product, but could not say there was none. That was the last time I purchased any Oats other than certified organic.
@@Dellicatspurr for what its worth, I've done tests with insects, specifically crickets bought from pet stores....when I feed them regular, Quaker oats there is usually either big die off the next day or a continuous die off over the next few days. So long as the product is 77%ish organic, they can label it organic. The real question is do they spray it anyway, & majority of the time they still do. The term "Organic" is just a marketing buzz word at this point. You have to do your due diligence & find out if the company practices actually reflect true organic food, or if they just use that term to prop themselves up over conventional.

My biggest issue is that we've been told for decades that all these toxic chemicals are within "safe" ranges when in foods/products - BUT THEY FAIL to consider that if we are using hundreds of products a day, our exposure is far beyond "safe" and just because something is not instantly dangerous fails to address the cumulative effects of these chemicals that disrupt cell receptors from attaching to nutrients so that you can be eating the optimal "clean" diet and still end up nutrient deprived and chronically ill.

They definitely do not list all of the pesticides used as being in the food or no one would ever buy them. They will deny that they are present in the food even with scientific data.
No, they are not required to add an item as an ingredient. If it is not a food ingredient. Probably in the fine print, "must include all food items,", but it doesn't include poisonous items.
Is this the evergreening practice of agrochemicals business? The updated version of paraquat and diquat? They used to be used to dry out grains for harvesting, rather than naturally maturing, since grain in a field matures at different rates and sheds their seeds. It was a way to maximize harvest and reduce grain loss. Always a dodgy toxic practice since both these chemicals are highly toxic. Their use was predicated on the idea that they broke down quickly and easily into "harmless " by products
