That looked like a lovely bit of chocolate cake. I do like a lovely bit of chocolate cake. I remember one being on a day out at the National Trust. I was feeling a bit peckish after several hours of creeping about when I spotted a bit fat chocolate cake sitting on the edge of a window sill. I carefully tiptoed up to it, grabbed the cake and made a swift get away. Unfortunately the park ranger spotted me and made chase. Luckily for me I managed to out run him after he skidded on a banana skin and got hit in the face by a tree branch. I escaped to a cave that I knew was nearby, were I had a nice nap after finishing off the entire cake. Parking was free too because I had National Trust membership through my bank. Fumbs up.
Dont let anyone pull you down or stop you from doing this. This cake not only looks amazing, and it most likely tastes amazing. I will definitely try this recipe! Keep going, your cooking is SPECTACULAR!
Would you like to make a german dish, Kay? Bauernfrühstück/ Farmer's Breakfast? It's just sliced potatoes slowly fried, add bacon finely chopped, h-onions at last until all tender and golden. Mix a few h-eggs with salt, pepper and parsley, pour into the pan on top of potatoes and all. Let it fry for five minutes then turn the heat lower and put a lid on the pan until h-eggs are also thoroughly done. Serve with sweet/sour cucumbers or cornichon-cucumbers from a glas or a wee salad or just nothing in addition. Enjoy, if you try it. xoxo
Looks so tasty! It made my stomach growl because I wanted a bite. Did you think about using cake frosting to decorate the outside? I would have loved to use a white drizzle of vanilla frosting
At the end of the day - I think we all just want a relationship as strong and sturdy as your cooker top, Kay! And whoooo doesn't like chocolate cake? I could just eat a slice of that now with my mid morning cuppa ❤
Thanks for entertaining us kay! Could you by any chance recreate one of my favourite childhood dishes "ligma bosak"? Its basically an omlet with beans, potatoes and peppers. Would love to see your own twist on this dish!
Looks great, Kay! Chocolate cake goes well with chocolate ganache, but that's my preference instead of buttercream frosting as I prefer the chocolatey creaminess coating the cake.
Looked amazing Kay, wish you could do a vid every day I always look to see if there is a Kays cooking video before any others that I watch keep well and Lee too, my Son is also called Lee
Hi Kay! I’m love your cooking, makes me feel very inspired to try some of your yummy treats!! This is day 3 of asking for mini egg cookies I hope you see this please make in time for Easter it would really mean the world to me❤❤
hey I like your content, always kindof warms my heart. one of the recent videos reminds me of a video that my grandma used to make and was wondering if you would give it a try: Gyatt: take a peach and cut a hole in part of it, just big enough to fit a spoon remove most of the meat from the peach, have some "peach meat" still in the peach for flavor fill with in cooked baked beans (preferably with bacon bits) put the peach filled with beans in boiling water until beans are warm strain if the peach fans apart make scrambled eggs and mix in the beans, if the peach fell apart than include the peach, if not, than just the beans serve with whipped cream on top. Would love to see you make it, lots of love :)
Looks good to me, well done ❤ Edit: commented before the end end. I would love to see you make some slow cooker recipes if you have a slow cooker. Otherwise my mum has a tater hash recipe, which is basically fry some mince and onions (use that meat chopper to really break up the meat) season (salt, pepper, then whatever else you fancy) then add sliced potatoes and whatever veg we happen to have in and lots of stock. Simmer for a couple of hours on the hob. Serve in a bowl with bread and butter or without. I dont always eat bread and butter so I'm a without kind of girl. x
My mum always melted chocolate and used that as icing. A ganache is my other go-to bc I don't like buttercream, and chocolate ganache with chocolate cake is 🧑🏼🍳🤌💋
Please kay make Mear Wellington: Ingredients: 500g of Various Meats (maby leftovers) 400 gMushrooms, 200 grammd of thinly sliced parma ham, A sheet of premade puff pastry. 1 Egg, Oil, Cling film Instructions: Start off by blending the Mushrooms very finely. (You can add 50ml of cream here if you like) After this cut up your meat into cubes of 5cm. Season it and fry it in another pan on very high heat. Make sure the pan is preheated for about 4 min on the highest setting. After your meat cubes are browned ob all sides take them out of the pan. Now line your workspace with lots of cling film. Lay out the Parma ham onto the clingfilm to create a sheet of ham. Take your meat and spread it into the middle of the ham. Make sure they are in the center but spread evenly horizontally. Fold over the Bottom of the ham with help of the cling film. Take back the film but leave the ham wrapped arount the meat. Do it for the top now aswell leaving the cling film there this time. Now take the vottom of the foil and fold it over again putting it on the other foil. Pinch the sides of your roll grap them and roll up the film. Now it should look lile a christmas cracker. Roll it up very tight and put it in the fridge for at least an hour. Unpack and spread your puff pastry on clingfilm now. Spread the mushrooms into the middle and in a rectanhle leaving 5cm space on every side. Now take out your other wrapped up meats, put them into the middle (cut up the foil and removecit of course) of your prepared mushrooms and wrap the wellington up, the same way you did before with tje cling film. If you've dome that put the package into the fridge for 30 more min. Preheat your oven to 180°C. Remove the cling film and put the wellington on a baking tray. Take the yellow of an egg, beat it and brush it onto the wellington. Put your wellington into the oven now for about 30 minuits or untill dark golden brown. Take it out, let it rest fir 10 minuits and slice it lile a lof pf bread. Every slice should be about 5-8cm thick. Enjoy!

@KaysCooking Hey Kay, I’ve got a recipe idea for you to try out. This is a classic meal my aunt often makes for me and I would love to see you make it. It’s called Meaty Sausage in Juicy Hole. It’s an odd name, I’m not sure why it’s called that. But it’s pretty simple. First, you sear off a sausage until it’s cooked through, you can use any sausage you’d like. Next, you roughly chop up half a small white onion. Add the onion to a generous handful of ground beef in addition to a pinch of salt and combine. Then, wrap the middle of the sausage all the way around in the ground meat mixture and sear the meat off again. Once you’ve developed some color take the meat out and drizzle of mustard and mayo. And boom, your Meaty Sausage in Juicy Hole is done. I would really love to see you cook this classic meal please comment if you will
@@KaysCooking Aww you got it wrong. It's supposed to be fun and joke. He actually appreciated you in his last video he made about you. I am sure it would be fun if you Collab with him
@KaysCooking a bit sad about the daz collaboration I think it would have been the best video of the year and you'd have had an amazing time. Haters be haters they'll always come but good times like that are few and far between
@@Garethheppi dont know who that is but im sure i dont like him and im glad Kay is not doing anything with him and I wish people would stop talking about it really.
