Last year, I made my usual yule log recipe but used your decoration technique to make it look like tree bark and it's AMAZING!! So easy to make and it really does look like a real tree, especially after adding a tiny bit of powdered sugar to make it look like snow. It's so beautiful!!!

I made this for my office Christmas party. It didn’t turn out perfect, but everyone in the office loved it! It’s not your typical log cake with overdose of cream. This recipe is light, and the caramelized coconut added an unique twist to the cake!! Will be baking this again in the years to come. Thank you for for sharing this awesome recipe!
This was actually pretty easy. Not too many steps like other videos I've watched. I was so worried about not pre-rolling the cake. But it turned out just fine. I followed your video and written recipe and it turned out perfect. I do not like to bake so thank you for making it simple. :)
