Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream: Easy and Delicious Summer Treat
Hello and welcome back to my channel! Today, I’m sharing a delightful recipe for Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream, and the best part is-you don’t need an ice cream machine! This easy-to-make treat is perfect for hot summer days and is sure to be a hit with kids and adults alike. With just a few simple ingredients, you can whip up this creamy, chocolatey dessert that’s perfect for cooling down when the weather heats up. Follow along as I guide you through each step.
These are the ingredients you will need.
Ingredients:
- 200g dark chocolate bar
- 120ml semi-skimmed milk
- 750ml double cream
- 175g condensed milk
- 7g vanilla sugar
Instructions:
1. Melt the Chocolate:
- Start by breaking the 200g dark chocolate bar into small pieces and placing them in a microwave-safe bowl.
- Add 120ml of semi-skimmed milk to the bowl with the chocolate.
- Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
- Once melted, place the bowl in the fridge to cool for about 10 minutes. This will help the chocolate mixture reach a suitable temperature before combining with the cream.
2. Whip the Cream:
- In a large mixing bowl, pour in 750ml of double cream. Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the cream on medium-high speed until it forms soft peaks.
- Be careful not to overwhip; you want the cream to be light and fluffy, not too stiff.
3. Combine the Ingredients:
- Once the whipped cream is ready, gently fold in 175g of condensed milk. This will add sweetness and a creamy texture to your ice cream.
- Next, pour in the cooled chocolate mixture and add 7g of vanilla sugar for a hint of extra flavor. Gently fold the chocolate and vanilla sugar into the whipped cream mixture until everything is well combined and smooth.
4. Freeze the Ice Cream:
- Transfer the ice cream mixture into a freezer-safe container. Smooth the top with a spatula and cover the container with a lid or plastic wrap.
- Place the container in the freezer and let the ice cream freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until it’s fully set.
5. Serve and Enjoy:
- Once the ice cream is fully frozen, scoop it into bowls or cones and enjoy! This rich, creamy chocolate ice cream is perfect for cooling down on a hot day and is sure to be a favorite summer treat.
