Hi there! I would love to do this recipe!! I just have a question! After forming the balls stuffed with Nutella can I put them in the fridge or freezer? If so, the powder suger can be added until we are going to bake? Thank you 🙏🏼

It’s better to not store in refrigerator the formed cookies for too long: baking your cookies with a frozen-chilled Nutella center, helps to get a creamy Nutella core that remains creamy for days, because if Nutella bakes too much, it will become dry. Anyway, if you want to keep them in refrigerator before baking, you can coat them in sugar after the chilling time in refrigerator, just before baking. Same if you store them in freezer: coat them into sugar just before baking; in this case you may need to let them defrost a little bit outside the freezer before baking, to let the sugar well coats the cookie balls. Let me know when you try it!

Hello! Not at all if you follow rightly the recipe steps. Nutella is creamy at room temperature and it stays creamy for days after baking if you don't overbake the cookies and put a generous amount of Nutella in them. Read the tips here: www.how-tasty.com/chocolate-nutella-crinkle-cookies/

My Nutella never comes out from the cookies like this much melted…despite following all the steps…😭

Hi Urvashi! The reasons could be these: you use too little Nutella for each cookie; or you bake your cookies too much and your Nutella become dry in the oven. Remember that Nutella is creamy at room temperature, you don't need to bake it too much for melted: if you bake it too much, it will become dry!

How long does the chocolate remain melted ?

Nutella is creamy at room temperature, if you don’t overbake the cookies and use a generous amount of Nutella as I did, the Nutella center remains creamy forever! Do not store the cookies in referigerator but at room temperature. Here more info: www.how-tasty.com/chocolate-nutella-crinkle-cookies/

@@HowTasty Ciao Nuovo Valentina, No No No, I never go to the big retail stores after Thanksgiving. It is a madhouse and the savings are not worth crowds of people. Besides, I only buy one gift for my little brother. Of course if you lived in America I would be buying 2 gifts 😊. I don't forget what Christmas is truly about. I do try to donate to children's toy drives run by the local military. There is a program called ''Toys for Tots'' you give an unwrapped toy and the US Marines pick them up from various places and distribute them.
