This trendy new cake design is suitable for any occasion. Jazz up a birthday cake or may be an anniversary cake in this new cake style.
This is a 6" cake with a height of 8".
If painting the stencil in gold you can also air brush instead but you will have to be cautious not to get it on the cake part that is not covered.
If you're looking for a non-alcoholic option use lemon juice instead of vodka with the gold dust.
Brush a little water or alcohol before you apply the edible gold leaf on to the cake
The spheres/balls were purchased from a local cake decorating store. They are ready to use. They should be also easily available online with any cake decorating supply websites.
Please be cautious while using the steamer to steam your wafer paper as its very hot.
If you prefer not using a steamer or don't have one you can also use a water spray to moisten the wafer paper lightly.
The decorations in the end are just mix gold sprinkles of balls and rods.
