I find this kind of thought very upsetting. I think their chemistry in 2521 so beautiful and their friendship is so well portrayed. I like that it was written like that. When Seungwan hugged Jiwoong I thought it was beautiful and pure. They don't need to be a couple.
But this interview kind of showing that stereotype where there is no platonic friendship between male and female is exist, however 2521 try to break that stereotype.

I will actually be devastated if Seungwan and Jiwoong end up together. PLEASE we need more representation for female and male besties when both are straight. This whole idea of “females and males can’t be friends” is very immature in my opinion. Their friendship is so genuine.
Why can't a girl and a boy have a very platonic friendship? Whoever they end up with, I am ok with it as long as they are both happy plus it doesn't change the fact that they are each other's soul mate ❤️
If they do end up together, I feel like they'll be the kind of couple who's like friends most of the time and even if they don't end up together, I think they'll stay friends through it all :3
they are platonic soulmate it doesn't always have to endup as lovers just because they are best friends. Their friendship is so precious and represents boys and girls can be friends without having romantic feelings:)
U kno the reason why i watched this show is because of seungwan and jiwoongs friendship like we finally get those side characters that has no romantic feelings happening whatsoever and just great friends till the end and i love dat so much. If anything i hope seungwan ends up with her radio show fan instead they seem cute together
i know they are cute and all. I love this duo and their very very precious friendship that many people out there, including me, wish to have. I do think they could be a cute couple too because of their chemistry and strong bond (unlike yurim and jiwoong which i can't feel any chemistry). But I just want to call out the interviewer who thinks a man and a woman can't stay as friends. I hope they open their minds more and realize what they are missing.
let them stay as platonic friends in this drama and just cast them together as lovers in other dramas (cause there is really a potential ngl). no need to ruin the idea that a man and a woman can have a precious relationship that is not romantic.

Personally, I would like them to end up together. Yurim and Jiwoong are really cute, but I don't see their relationship lasting into adulthood. Seungwan and Jiwoong have the devotion and friendship that make loving relationships work.

Iam totally fine if they end up together or not.I love their friendship so much and after watching the episodes I think there is more in to that friendship.Iam not saying that they might like each other in the end, I just think that Seungwan might have feelings to Jiwoong and it really worries me.Who ever end up with who I want Seungwan to be happy in the end same as Jiwoong.
keep them platonic please😭 2521 really show cases the different type of love people can have, it’s not always romantic. and the relationship seungkwan & jiwoong have it literally prefect as it is, don’t need to add romantic into it.
I reallyyyy hope that Ji-woong and Seung-wan stay as besties because not so many dramas that shows platonic relationship between different sex gender. Most of them ended up liking the other person or even ended up being a couple. I hope the script writer doesn't change their relationship to something romantic.
It must be so weird for the two of them cuz like they are close like literally a woman and a men so in the host perspective they think the two of us can't have any type of connection if is not romantically
I like them together but we already have heedo and yijin who are bestfriends heading into the romance so I dont think the writer would still put these two together
