The first "I love you" only being heard by yeonsu is some smart attention to detail by the staff.. That makes it even more special for her as she was waiting so long to hear those words from ung and nobody else but her got to hear it first.

I love the way they mute the first "i love you" cuz it's only for one and only yeonsu ,the detail of this drama is superb!♥️

This is the most wholesome ‘I love you’ I’ve seen in Kdramas. Woong never lacked in showing this through actions. But this only shows us that words give a different sense of assurance. Just like when he said that he constantly have to be reminded of being loved, then Yeon-su deserves that too.

He finally completed the languages of love. She finally heard that three words she had been waiting to hear from Woong for years.

Everyone is applauding that OBS staff really paid attention to detail and I must say this: the scene where Choi ung draws Yeon Soo. He finally drew a human and it was her. It’s kind of saying “you’re constant and unchanging in my life” just like the buildings he drew. Then finally asked her “will you marry me?” 😭😭😭 unforgettable drama! Kudos to OBS! ❤️

It took him years to say it coz he was building up himself to deserve her. 😭❤

This scene captures how perfect this show is. "I love you" confessions don't get better than this, its peak romance. Just the little things add up so beautifully like only Yeonsoo hearing Ung say it the first time and them being in the alley where they both parted ways but are now accepting their eternal love. With the same OST during the umbrella kiss elevating the scene too, both of their performances are incredible. Dami's marble eyes alone show how she's recalling 10 years of agonizing anticipation plus Ung's comforting smile as he finally accepts that he is worthy of being someone Yeonsoo can rely on forever. Ung really does have some smooth moves because his romantic timing and dialogue always makes my heart flutter. I'm glad they saved this for the final episode because it's feels like we've actually known them for 10 years and are feeling the ultimate satisfaction as much as they are. Just give all the awards, they are forever my comfort couple.

I don't think Ung was that dense that he didn't notice that Yeonsu wanted to hear "I love you" from such a long time I actually thought he was dense but after watching this finale I realized he needed to love himself before saying it to her ah such good good writing it was actually believable that he was dense but really wasn't

He wanted to be the man worthy of her love before he said the words 🤧🥺🥺 Choi Ung is the standard!!!

Although this drama is supposed to be a RomCom one, Our Beloved Summer has become my standard for Melodrama. It's unbelievably beautiful in all aspects.

he needed to love and heal himself first before loving someone else, he also wanted to deserve yeonsu's love. (also, thanks to the comments for making me realize why the first i love you was muted). I really liked the story of the drama, I was able to reflect a lot on the characters and reflect. Thank you!

This drama has ended but I don't know how to move on. They gave us a memorable ending, stating that Choi Ung is the standard. Thank you also to the director, writer, and staffs for giving us a comforting story line. I am suddenly reminded of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha's plot, because of how healthy the second leads were. This drama will definitely be one of the best drama of the year.

they silenced woong’s first i love you from the viewers and was only heard by yeonsoo, like mannn directing on the next level😭 every single detail in this drama are just insane. i love this drama so badly how am i going to cope up with the drought next week😭😭😭

in the last ep when he said how long would it take for him to be worthy of loving her so he pursued his dreams went to france to learn architecture and then finally felt worthy of saying those 3 words to her 😭🧡 and when the first time he said it, we didnt get to hear it but only yeonsu, just how detailed and special that part was bcs she’s been waiting to hear that confession for the longest time 😭😭🧡🧡 this drama is officially one of my fav healing dramas everything is perfect and the detailsss plssss, im gonna be in a drama slump for a while bcs i dont think its gonna be easy for me to move on 🥲🥲🥲🫂🫂🫂

I love that when she turns around he's not right there. It's symbolic that he needs to close that distance slowly. The look on her face was 😭. Such brilliant acting from her. I felt her tears 💖

I don't know why I cried and also smiled at the same time during this scene. Like the first "I Love You" uttered by Ung was meant only for Yeonsu, hence completing each and every love language known to humans (Oh God, the details blew me away!). Whoever came up with this is a genius. I don't know know how to move on from this drama.. 💛💙

I watch their scenes daily😭 It’s lovely, comforting and relaxing to watch! OBS looks like a cliché at first, but the more you watch, the more you see that it's a deep psychological/emotional analysis of a couple pre/during/post break up, and the interactions between the cast behind and on screen are so wholesome! The scenery is WOW. The filming/cinematography/editing deserves so much appreciation. It's so much more cinematic than the usual K-drama. The color grading and lighting are perfect. Each setting and time represents a season, and, of course, there are the beautiful OSTs like Drawer by 10cm and Christmas Tree by V of BTS. It's simple yet complex and detailed at the same time.

Woohhh..kim da mi is so beautiful and her eyes tell everything even without any lines..good actress kudos to the staffs and crews who made this series. I cant wait to watch the documentary that they have made..

Our Beloved Summer is one of the best drama that gives its 16th episode to shine the brightest… we do love every scenes in it, the three characters successfully developed to be the mature adults and surrounded by the loves of their lives… kudos to ALL of the actors, actresses, director, writer, and crews in the drama 💛💙

I find it interesting how Parasite and Squid Game have gotten all the attention in the outside world so that when people think of Korean film or TV they just think violent dystopian thrillers. They miss one of the better aspects of Korean film and TV which is their handling of romance and love. They understand and portray human emotions extremely well. Hopefully the outside world will catch up to that soon.

The acting, chemistry, ost, simple plot turned into a masterpiece, each of the characters having their own stories and resolving them in the end; self-love, family, growth, friendship, romance all in one. it’s the best drama i’ve ever watched💙💛Above all, Dami and Wooshik really acted so well that I can’t imagine anyone else to be Yeonsu & Ung. I really hope they can meet in a 3rd project!! Netflix pls make it happen...

There were beautiful couples in kdramas. And there will be BUT i have never and i think I won't see a couple like these two. They have smth special. Can't put it in words but this thing makes them so special. They act so naturally. No need to scream scenes nor to say i love you every single minute. This was his first time saying i love you but we never felt we did not hear that i love yiu from him. Coz all of us got his love without the need of saying this word.
