I think it's time to talk about one of the most important steps in Dooku's downfall. Civil War on Sereno. After the death of Dooku's father (Gora), Dooku's brother (Ramil) took over from his father. His rule was tyrannical and the people rebelled. The rebellion was led by Dooku's sister (Jenza), who was Ramil's opposite. She was understanding, empathetic and patient. Upon learning of the war on the planet between his siblings, Dooku asked the Jedi Council to intervene. The Council did not intervene because Sereno was poor and had no advantage for politicians. Dooku went there alone. For the first time, he was consumed by the dark side. He took control of the beast (Tirra'Taka) to destroy Ramil's troops, the beast didn't want to be controlled which made Dooku very aggressive. In one such moment he completely lost control of himself and murdered Ramil and then killed Tirra'Tak because he saw that he had completely lost control of the beast. Dooku actually won the war. He declared himself the ruler and Count of the Planet. On the same day he communicated with Yoda and told him that he is leaving the order. What happened to Jenza She was killed before Attack of the Clones by Ventress. She was worried about Dooku and wanted to tell the republic about him. The count gave an order to his apprentice and she obeyed.
@@TopnessReactions In Ramil's case, he was in a trance and out of control. An attempt to control a huge Beast that the Sith had previously controlled led to Tira Taka actually being controlled by Dooku, but partly the beast controlled Dooku. Dooku can be said believed in his abilities too much. With Jenza, it's more complicated. He loved his sister. However, after becoming a Sith, he began to change. Jenza saw this change and asked Dooku to contact the Jedi that they would help him. Dooku knew that his sister would tell the truth to either the Jedi or the Republic (she didn't know he was a Sith but knew enough to make the Jedi interested in him) Dooku didn't want to kill his sister, so Ventress did it.
Another great episode! I wouldn't say it's quit as good as the last one, but wow... that final scene on Coruscant is just chilling Raxus is the home planet of Lux Bonteri, as seen when he first encounters Ahsoka and Padme during their visit there!
It did seem familiar, but he delivered it a little more formally when he first said it; Raxus sundary or some such. It threw me off a little. Lux! Wonder what happens to his character. Is he in any other shows?
I hadn't pieced it together myself, but apparently it's the system Padmé and Ahsoka sneaked off to to meet with Mina Bonteri in one of the season 3 arcs of CW. It was also Lux Bonteri's debut.
Dookus form II really is impressive. Its basics are specifically designed for one on one lightsaber combat, so being surrounded with blasterfire is not a situation a form II user would survive without great expertise.
Why was Windu elected to the council? Of course, Mace didn't know that. His master was Mirialan just like Katri. (It would look nice to have Mirialan replace the Apprentice who had Master Murialan) Windu was calm and idealized the Jedi and the Republic. And most importantly, Windu doesn't think outside the box. The council told him to do the job. He will do it exactly as the council said he will not add anything from himself.
So, how does one look at Dooku in the same light after Tales? Quite impossible, I dare say! Filoni is a Master, blurring the strict contour line that painted Dooku as just one more villain. We can't help but sympathize with him, even knowing what he will do. Man, Mace IS maddening, and also condescending, pompous and already showing that blind arrogance that will bring down the Jedi...
Hey one more thing that's not really it's the next episode your reaction to and I have a request for you to react to 1 of my short videos I'm going to tell you to pick the 2nd one though
