In 2020 social distancing requirements meant that the ChoirJam community choir (based in Keynsham near Bristol) was unable to meet and sing together for a large part of the year.
Fortunately, Emma Hutchinson, the choir director, and Michael Dobbs from Woodborough Video got together to organise their second virtual choir recording after the great success of the initial project in June. Once more, each singer recorded themselves singing along to a backing track on headphones, and sent the videos up to Michael in Nottingham. With 155 miles between the performers and the editor, social distancing was definitely observed! You can see from the video that the choir members had a great time, even if they couldn't be with their friends in person.
