The world famous Chooky Dancers from Galiwin'ku made an impromptu appearance at Yirrkala on their way to Canberra, and the Mulka Project's Yolngu camera crew was there!
There just like teens from anywhere in the world, they're trying something a bit different, they're having fun, and good on 'em for keeping a lot of the traditional things in their dancing.
No, silly! But there are traditional elements in there. This style of silly dancing has been developing at festivals and fun nights at home in Arnhem Land for a few decades.
