Recently purchased a Dual tone kamfa F2 (red & orange) The reseller I purchased from has a transparent white background and apparently the fish's color was much more brighter. It's been 5 days colors are slightly better but still not as dark as before. I saw another video on youtube which spoke about how black background dulls fish color. Would the colors pop in black background for a dual tone? Kinda confused between dark blue & red background!
Hello bro. If your seller and you using white background now. Your fish still good with that. It’s ok to continue use it. If not you can try use all black for background & bottom. Bottom color is importance too. For me never had problems with black background for long term
Thanks. Usually it not usually use for flowerhorn. It makes them swim alot and tired. We want their kok big not their body so if they swim back and front alot will make them bigger body
@@redfather9208 indeed, this is what i noticed with over one month of wavemaker. But tank is cleaner with it though and also imo, makes some workout for the FH. But if you want bigger kok, indeed skip the wavemaker
Hello sir, i do have a question regarding on flowerhorn background colors. Most hobbyist used deep blue, sky blue... I do purchase a dual tone srd, color just like yours in videos but its srd not kamfa, red and yellow flowerhorn last week, though this is my first fish, so im confused about background color, should I used the blue background or shift to black background?
Blue is the safe background but if you want to try something different you can use black. Almost all Two tones flowerhorn can do with all black. Just make sure turn on light enough and if fish afraid black. Have to pput them back to blue. Some fish they only like the color with him when they was young to grow up
For high quality flowerhorn. Very hard to dull their color. Need light 4-8hrs a day to keep their color still best and good protein source food which make their color grow up
