It will be nice if Apple updated the focus mode in Apple Watch to automatically switch to low power mode when a particular focus starts. This is available on the iPhone but not on the Apple Watch.
Great video-just picked up the SE1, and it’s awaiting shipment. The cellular model version saved me approximately $120 (Canadian) versus SE2, so it made sense. Also, with an iPhone XS, I’m not one to complain about having a slower chip 😅
I got to say that my fav feature of the Apple Watch is definitely my ability to control my iPhone and AirPods Pro’s by extension when I’m listening to music at work 🤭
Thanks for this video. At the shop it was very difficult to see the difference between SE and SE2 models. Will now go back and make sure I get the SE2 watch.
I just got my son and wife se1 for 150$ brand new Black Friday ! Good price my wife’s upgrade from series 3 she dosnt care about tech but needed a upgrade and my son just wants one
I bought the SE1 because it was only $159 at Walmart with cellular as an option and 44mm screen. Great value option coming from the series 3 and the processor is twice as fast.
The best thing for Apple watch was the notifications. I am a student so I have to mute my phone, which most of the time I would miss the calls and messages
@mjoshss As a student i’d choose the SE 1 just because it’s cheaper lol. I’d still have the basic functions needed for basic tasks. I love how the essentials are already on hand, such as the heart rate monitor. Though the chip on the S2 will be more worth it as the update support will last longer.
I have iphone 14 pro max, air pod pro gen 2, and se1 apple watch 44mm for 170. felt that i just wanted something to track my fitness stuff and nothing to crazy. yes it has a better cpu in the se2 but what i need it for does not require a better cpu really.
my se1 screen has significant damage to the display (huge cracks) to the point where parts of the screen are not responsive to my touch. The cost to repair it would result in them just giving me a refurbished SE1. I'm wondering if I may as well just get an SE2 at this point, especially since the SE3 is not coming in 2024, or if I'm better off stepping up to an S9 or S10
@bachjpg Just bought the SE2 last week in Silver as my first Apple Watch and has been loving the experience so far. I think the plastic back isn’t a loss since we don’t really notice it in every wear. Plus I just need a watch that pairs with my phone and does its regular jobs well.
I am afraid my accent gave me away. Ja, ik ben Nederlander. De video is, denk ik, vrij duidelijk. Doe het niet, tenzij het heel goedkoop wordt aangeboden
I just got the SE1 (GPS + Cellular) at Walmart for $120 dollars. Really couldn't justify spending twice as much for the SE2. That being said, I was only looking for an upgrade to my Fit-bit Charge 5, so it's still an upgrade either way 😂
@iamowiesome Thanks for the review it helped me to decide whether to buy SE or SE 2. This is so informative. Keep making such videos bro. You just gained a new Filipino subscriber and a fan here 💪🏼
Just got my first apple watch and I decided to choose series 8 😍😍 it just overall looks so much better than se 2 and the existence of keyboard and ovulation features sold me!
@adriandang I love the convenience of getting notifications on my watch without the opportunity of getting distracted when I normally pick up my phone! 😅
@drhalsteadphotography my wife has had a fitbit and it is starting to finally die so I am going to surprise her with one of these two models. Will make my decision after this video! Thanks!!
@Jokay4250 My favorite thing about the Apple Watch is the design it’s very cool looking what Apple Did. also apple adds health track Which is an amazing feature for people.
They are basically have the same specs and look but I will definelty go with the se 2 because it is more future proof. The SE watch is more than enough for me. @allrubia
@ronan.obeirne Great video as always! Love how the Apple Watch SE still has most of the capabilities of the series 8, making it a great option for people buying an Apple Watch for the first time and those who don’t want to empty their bank account 😂
hi sir ur channel subscribed N like N share N instagram following 😊 N ur channel my favorite m fro india karnataka belgaum my favorite ur all videos 😍👌👌👍
@dexcostales08 I am not really familiar with these watches, however, after watching this video I think I’ll buy it someday haha☺️. Great comparison of these watches, Dion! Always a wise review😊
Got a series 7 GPS 45mm after watching your videos very recently. Loving the health tracking features and ability to reply to messages via the watch on keyboard and voice without the need to take the phone out. Thanks Dion ♥️ @imahungrybiker
@wxxs01 Being able to track my HR and getting notifications straight from my wrist are definitely 2 of my favourite features! Thank you for your videos, they are always so helpful!
@joelkwok I love the fitness tracking by the apple watch. I lead an active lifestyle love that it is able to track all my stats while giving me the premium smooth apple experience!
Thanks for the video. SE 1 has all of the essential features and i will probably get another one in 2 years. Just got a SE 1 for $149.99 at Wal Mart! Black friday deals!
Hi mate, great video, I appreciate how you get straight to the point without too much unnecessary fluff. Just bought the SE 2 and passed my SE 1 (which is still in great condition) onto a family member. The difference in responsiveness with the S8 chip is definitely noticeable.
Hi there, I’m about to buy an Apple Watch but not sure about this; • Apple Watch SE Nike (2020) GPS + Cellular model and it’s 5,700 TRY • Apple Watch SE (2022) GPS model and it’s 6,000 TRY It is good and important that the 2022 model lasts longer, but it is also very good and important that the 2020 model has the Cellular feature. I'm so undecided on what to do, any ideas?
I’m considering the SE 2 because of the crash and falling down detection and I’m getting to that age….. also for checking blood pressure and heartbeat because I’ve had an irregular heartbeat in the past.
We brought my grandpa a series 7 last Christmas he didn’t really care for it until match of this year, he fell at home alone and his watch saved him. Man hasn’t taken it off since. So I really support older people getting one
my favourite feature is the alarm, which sounds like such a small thing, but i find that it wakes me up way easier than my phone as it vibrates on my wrist
Just picked up an SE1 for 150 from Walmart after reading that it’s essentially the same watch. Absolute steal IMO, same price as a Fitbit charge 5 but syncs better with my other Apple products like AirPods/beats and phone, and is also an interface im already familiar with, having owned the original Apple Watch. Super excited for it to come in! Really just needed a watch for fitness tracking and so I wouldn’t have to take my phone on runs, and this fulfills both purposes. I don’t need all the extra features of the newer watches- I’m only going to have this watch on for workouts as I really love my actual analog watches for daily wear. I’ll probably just wear this at night and for my workout which I do as soon as I wake up early in the morning for sleep and workout tracking.
That’s the same exact reason I’m considering the SE1. When I’m at the gym, I’d either have to hold my phone or use an old school arm band for my phone. The one I have barely fits my phone and I’d definitely have to take my phone cover off to use it. Not to mention, I can’t wear it the normal way and control music. So I was considering an Apple watch so I can start closing these fitness rings! The slower processing was noticeable in this video- not sure how I feel about the lag vs cost savings. But I can at least go to Walmart and check the SE1 out.
Back in 2021 I had the Se watch that was terrible it never hold a full charge during the day! Sent it back but then I got the series 3 2022 and it’s really really nice, charged great features… now the se2 I’m not sure if this would be my next upgrade no pun intended here But only “TIME” lol will tell🙃😃
Costco is still selling new se1’s. I bought one a few months ago and find it adequate. Very reliable on notifying me of txts and calls. Also multiple timers help when cooking
@jaaakin I feel like apple really did make it fair with the downgrade in features, for the price point. It just seems like you get a great product for the price and the features you might miss out on are not worth the higher price.
Main reason why got the SE2 was for the crash detection I had the regular SE model which didn’t know gave it to my daughter I really wanted the newer models but cost to much
I picked the Series 5 cause it won't be available anymore and it had the same chipset as the Series SE 2020 than the latest series SE 2022..and it might be the luckiest person who got the oldest and still support Apple Watch after my Series 6 I got in 2021 and the Series 5 will be to my eldest brother who wanted an Apple Watch for his first time ever after getting his iPhone 11 Pro Max.
After watching this I’ll be going with the SE 2 44mm until something drastically different comes out better then the 8 or Ultra comes out . I’m upgrading from a Series 3 42mm
