can't believe the creepy guy who took a drunk suzy home in architecture 101 is the same guy who got drunk and ugly cried because his infant patient died under his care ... Yoo yeon seok's range is insane

I started watching Hospital Playlist immediately right after I finished Mr. Sunshine. It was an unbelievable change of character. Whenever I watch him all caring in a hospital gown, I always forgot how much he yields his sword in Mr. Sunshine.

No one can beat Gu Dong Mae, one of the best role he ever played. From being a bad guy to someone who's willing to risk his life just to protect the only girl he ever love. From makeup,costumes,speaking in japanese the action scenes and of course he's acting. 😍😍😍

Dong Mae is my best. I remember. his voice "Naaarii!" in Mr. Sunshine. Everytime I miss Dong Mae and I feel sad for him.

Yoo Yeon Seok always slays any role. I admire his passion & versatility. I love Dr. Kang and Andrea but I guess portraying GU Dong Mae is on another level. Its legendary ! He really did an excellent job as GDM. ( Mr Sunshine )That's his first kdrama that I watched and I can't move on in his acting skills so i searched his other kdrama. Now, he made us fell in love to kindhearted Ahn Jeong Won .He really works hard to learned how to play drums. The duality of YYS is no joke. It doesnt matter if YYS is antagonist or protagonist, he can definitely give justice to his character. Yoo Yeon Seok never fails to amaze me. I just love everything about this man & I have a high respect for him.

lord the RANGE this man has is INSANE. he literally deserves to be counted amongst the top actors in South Korea for the work he’s done. you’d find most of the top actors doing very similar kinds of work almost every time but he’s so versatile even if he’s playing a doctor again

Dong Mae in Mr Sunshine. Epic and great acting. He had the best chemistry with the lead actress. Fighting skills were superb and he interchanged lines between korean and japanese beautifully. His portrayal of the King in the Royal Tailor with the Queen of k-dramas Park Shin-hye is also one of the best.

he's so amazing at acting that every time he plays a different role, we can see him as that role instead of the yoo yeonseok we see behind the scenes! i always get into the character he plays! he's such a complete package 😻

He nailed the character of dong Mae. He was so perfect his looks, ,his eyes, his acting everything was amazing and beautiful. I could feel the pain, hatred, anger, concerns, sadness and love in his eyes for ae shin. I cried hard when he died. He was smiling . The last line when he said 'you have paid me enough now don't come ', I felt he was going to die but I was not prepared to see him die... It's been two days since I have completed the serial and I am unable to get over dong Mae. I am thinking about him. The cinematography and the actors are so perfect that it feels like you are inside this show. It doesn't feel fake like the one being played on your phone or laptops. It feels so real that it is actually happening and you yourself are witnessing everything, like you are a part of this series... I don't know why this drama is underrated, this is a masterpiece for me, and Idt any drama could replace Mr sunshine's aura..

I first saw him in Werewolf Boy as the annoying 2nd lead then "Chilbong" happened and couldn't get out of this fan hole ever since. Best decision ever!

I call him a chameleon coz he is such a versatile amazing actor. I love a lot of his work! Haven't seen his theatre work but of movies & dramas, my top fav roles of his: *1. Gu Dong Mae (MR. SUNSHINE) which I think is also his best role & career highlight (so far), he was so multi-dimensional and complex, even a bit of a villain, but he gets you to feel empathy for him and love him. 2) Kang Dong Joo (Romantic Doctor Kim) 3) Ahn Jungwon (HOSPITAL PLAYLIST) - so cute with kids! He learnt to play drums for this role too! 🤷🏾‍♀️ Sheesh! Is there anything he can't do?! P.S. he has played doctors so many times haha. 4) Chilbong (Reply 1994) - My 2nd lead syndrome was strong!
