Choosing a Decluttering Method? Which One is Best for YOU?

I'm a new listener, I like your videos! Dana K White's no mess decluttering method looks a lot like your SPACE method. With the added benifit that you can declutter for as little or as long as you'd like and have no mess to pick up afterwards. A game changer for me as I tended to have to many maybe piles and boxes all over. I've used other methods but now it's my default decluttering method to tackle day to day messes and hot spots.

I am enjoying your RU-vid videos as well as your podcasts. Today I watched this video along with your very first video. “3 Simple Steps to Beginning Decluttering Journey” I was so motivated and determined to empty a basket full of random stuff along with tons of paper. At first I thought I’m gonna go ahead and spend 10 minutes but then I thought I just want to conquer this whole thing get rid of it once and for all, it took me 28 minutes and 58 seconds. I decided to do a stopwatch, and to find out how long it would take me to conquer it. I actually don’t care how long it took me. I’m just glad I finally accomplished that project. Thanks for sharing all of these methods and the pros and cons of each. My problem is you say it is easy to find one item to donate each day. But I struggle with letting go of anything, so this is not at all easy for me. There is nothing I want to get rid of. Help!

Love to listen to you as I’m getting ready in the morning. It helps to motivate me to get rid of stuff throughout the day. I struggle with one in-one out in the clothing area. I always think I may need or want the old item!

We are going through the process of going through with my parents furniture and etc and the process of fixing the house for selling this year our parents house and going through the will this year as well
