Would you fail to realize is that his brain is physically different? The drug literally hijacks your brain and the reward system pretty much makes you a slave so in all reality, he’s not consistently asking you for money because he wants to be annoying or he doesn’t understand no it’s because in his mind that burger is garbage. It comes with a $10 bag of dope so he can get right first just know nearly every moment of this guy‘s existence is pain and suffering. If she happens to get enough money, he might get to feel relief and even a slight high for a short period of time, but most of the timeis going to be just skating by maintaining, trying to run away from the sickness that is just around the corner no matter how many times you do it no matter how much money no matter how much stuff. I know it’s to feel empathy for people like this mostly because we can’t comprehend why they don’t just stop.

@@johnclaybaugh9536 half of homeless people are junkies, alcoholics, or substance abusers and it's so unfortunate because they take away people's kindness to actual homeless people who are struggling and just need a helping hand to get back up on their feet.
Good on you. I’ve done the same with the homeless addicts and it’s sad to see, but they are people too… a shell of their former selves but they need help. Thank you for helping him out , I constantly see homeless people sleep around my local church because they do help them to an extent. Never MONEY because they will abuse it. I’m a veteran and I always fear of becoming something like that because im disabled from serving and lost several jobs due to seizures. But the VA doesn’t give a fuck. So people like you and I help tremendously. So many times I see signs saying “Sober war veteran looking for food or work. Anything helps”

I pulled up to an intersection once with a guy holding a sign that read, "I'm not homeless, I just need money for beer." I thought it was hilarious and honest, so I gave him $20. 😂

Everything begging , drugs, barred from places for sitting for hours out the rain and taking drugs in toilets back in my teens to my 20s and so many humans I owe my life 2 for the help that I just saw you show to this human ,, now I'm good , have 5 kids and 3 step kids a wife and the cutest dog,, life can be hard and crule but help is sometimes the difference between life n death . Though a lot of homeless people will just blow peoples’ kindness on drugs, I don’t want to lose hope in the homeless people who’re genuinely trying to better their lives.
This is exactly why you should never give the homeless money. The only thing you should give them is food and water. Learn from my mistakes, I gave some money to a homeless person and he used it to buy alcohol
Fax bro my mom always tells me this and even in my religion it’s bad to give homeless money since sadly tons of them are either liars or use drugs and booze.
I prefer not to accept help or money from others because I believe that relying on free assistance can lead to a cycle of laziness. If I start receiving things for free, I fear that I'll lose motivation to work for my needs and become too dependent on others. That's why I choose to earn what I need through my own efforts, rather than accepting handouts.
@LeInternetcockroach there's free food all over where I live. On the other hand, I've never been able to get a job without a phone. If I'm not hungry, why would I want food that will go bad before I would eat it later?

One time a homeless man asked for money so I bought him a nice hot NZ bakery pie and a nice cold can of coke. When I went to hand it to him he was cleaning the window to a strangers car for some loose change and he told me to leave it on the floor and I left. A few hours later I drove back to the store and I saw the same can of coke and pie at the same place and the homeless man gone. I was abit bummed out cause that was all the money I had left and to see it wasted hurt a bit. All homeless people are going through a tough time so hopefully we can help those who really need it

One time i encountered someone like that asking for food, so i went to the nearest bakery to get a baguette, and once back to give him, he told me "go put your baguette in your fu*** ass " and proceeded to launch the baguette in the air... first and last time i helped a stranger like him...

It's getting out of hand that homeless people are waiting for you outside the store to give them money. Some of them take electronic payments now. I just keep moving.

This happened to me last month! 3 different women asked me for money. I told them that I didn't have any cash on me, but I would buy them $20 worth of groceries which I could not afford. They refused and just wanted the money. 2 of them had their babies and I offered to get them diapers, but they just wanted the cash. I was so mad
I met a homeless guy on the streets! I felt bad for him and gave him my number so I can try helping him get a job! He texted a terrible story and I ended up sending money! I kept asking for the resume or details so I can create one! He kept dodging! When he asked for more money, I knew he was scamming me! Blocked him.

I went to Seattle to go see some relatives, although I was a kid, I also had a decent understanding of drug abuse, however when I saw a homeless person asking for money, I was none the wiser, I asked my mom and the other adults if we could give them money, my Aunt turned to me and said no, later explaining to me a story similar to this video. A lady asked for money, my Aunt said "How about you tell me what you need and I'll buy it for you" in response the woman just walked away. My Aunt taught me that when people ask for money, it's not always because they want to buy things they need, rather it's to buy things they want.
My dad was on drugs about 30 years in his early twenties he since has gotten better has an amazing job a family a house a car and all thanks to my great grandmother for telling him if he quits he can stay there as long as he needs rip to her😔
Hey I'm going to say that giving food is better than money and where I live I've seen countless "homeless" people spend their money on cigarettes. But some can really use the food.
Oh, Ali, I emember this guy from that video, he's definitely South Asian, because it takes one to know one. He definitely cane to Canada for opportunities but got hooked on drugs, I kinda have some sympathy but it's his own fault too. Giving a physical thing like food is WAY better than giving them money. You don't know what they plan to do with it and could potentially be wasting it so it's a good compromise.
Same thing happened to me yesterday. When I was walking into a store a guy outside kept asking for money, I said no I only carry card. He said go to an atm, I’m only trying to get my insulin. I said no again. A guy gave him money when I walked out I overheard him asking for drugs to a woman and he left with her. 🤦🏻♂️

This is why you should never give homeless people money because they’ll say they’ll use it for food when they’ll just buy drugs or alcohol. This is why we have homeless shelters and treatment programs.

Something like this happened to us at a gas station last year. These two dudes asked for money for gas. My mom knowing they were lying told them to park at a pump and she would pay for their was. They said she didn't have to they could just take the money. She parked near an empty pump and insisted she pay for them as she didn't have cash. She was being loud asking when are they moving (they supposedly had enough gas to move to a pump) and insisted she would pay. Everyone nearby was hearing. The guys got in the car and went around the gas station and parked on a side where "we wouldn't see them" and started asking others for money. But they all heard what happened so no one paid attention.
