Glad you finally got to try Alghabra Ancient Fortress. I find it so interesting. You see aquatic notes with leather, and it makes you scratch your head...but dang if it doesn't work. lol

Choosing between wet stone and lunar vetiver is hard but yes lunar vetiver might be the more versatile option. Lunar Vetiver is clean vetiver in the league of Roja Vetiver PC and Tom Ford Grey Vetiver but with more spice and character. Danae to me is the best smelling from Argos but versatility might not be its strong suit but might be remedied fewer sprays. Still, i might give versatility to Pour Homme or Sacred Flame but yes i get you love Brivido and it does have versatility despite that Strong Green character due to the mate and birch. Great list JC!

Dude I just tried and bought Cartier Declaration Parfum for men on your recommendation. Normally I can’t stand rose as a note. But this smells like a natural very green earthy rose, with a hint dirty citrus like Terre D Hermes EDT and WOW! I’m never gonna doubt you again! That’s TWO fragrances you got me on. Hermes being the other.

For Me: Guerlain as to be Guerlain L'homme Idéal EDP. Maison Margiela as to be By the fireplace. Amouroud is tied with Wet Stone & Oud After Dark.

Guerlain: (okay) Angélique Noire [love! absolutely had to buy the classic bottle design] 2. Cartier: (only 1! 😅) Declaration D'Un Soir [I need to get a discovery set...] 3. Maison Margiela: (okay) Whispers in the Library 4. Argos Fragrances: (minimal) Adonis Awakens 5. Alghabra: (none! 😭) [I need to get a discovery set!!!] 6. Zaharoff: (growing) an even tie between Signature Rosé and Signature Bloom 7. Chris Collins: (none! 😭) [I love rooibos tea... I need to get a discovery set!!!] 8. Amouroud: (none! 😭) [I need to get a discovery set...] MORE BRANDS PLEASE!! Hee-hee!

Nice picks! I would remind you tho that not all fougeres are automatically barbershops as not all have the shaving soap/foam/cream inspired scent. Floris Vert Fougere, just to give you an example, is an outdoorsy woody smoky fougere. Something that goes great in the Fall in the English countryside while you wear a tweed coat. Cheers!

African Robious I have to try immediately! The house of Chris Collins is spectacular. Oudwood, Kingmaker to Harlem nights during the winter time. My wife loves Lust. Have you smelled, Hermann à mes Côtés me Paraissait une Ombre by Etat Libre d'Orange? If so, how would you say it compares to Declaration d'Un Soir? I'm not big on rose as a note, usually it has to be in the background for me to enjoy the scent, but hey it saves me money by not buying all those rose/oud scents. However, I do like the one I mentioned above even though it is a rose scent. To me it reminds me more of the rose stem than the rose petal. Also, Lunar Vetiver is one of my favorite vetiver fragrances, I would have picked that one too.

Épices Volées for Guerlain a woody Chypre lovely stuff. If you haven't tried it, get your nose on it...😅 For Cartier I would go with Pasha de Cartier Parfum. I feel it is versatile enough. I agree with at the Barber's For me i world go Pour Homme for Argos. I really enjoy it. Feel it can work for any situation. And it is a 4 season fragrance. King of Flowers for Alghabra Seraphim Blue for Zaharoff And can't comment on the last two cause I don't have any experience with the brands there... yeah yeah link in the description below for decants... working on it... 😂

Great video Justin, as always. If versatility was the main contributer to my choices, they would be: Guerlain: Encens Mythique (A little challenging to pull off outside of winter, but the Aldehydes and confidence will help) Cartier: Declaration D'un Soir I have no experience with the rest of the houses. I don't know how but I would love to try out both of your fragrances, I'm sure they are going to be very special.

Oh my God that lunar vetiver is so terrible.. I got it last year and honestly it made me sick to my stomach when I used it..I threw up..and it is so strong that I have to shower and rub it so hard...it is not a blind buy at all guys.. If anyone lives here in NYC I would be more than happy to give it away...

I can finally pinpoint the reason I dislike all of your videos and never finish any of them despite liking you as a person. It's the hundreds little editing cuts to remove exhaling and inhaling cycle while talking. Very artificial feel to the videos. I need more human like content with normal human speech.
