I'm an IVF child of a lesbian mother, my mum never lied about how I was born, I was quite young when I asked the "where's daddy?" question and I totally misinterpreted her response; told everyone in primary school that my father was a donut instead of a donor.

I want to name my daughter Lizard so she will go by Liz and when people ask her if it's short for Elizabeth she'll have to say "No my name is Lizard"

The way my mum's boss had children with her partner was like this: one of them had their eggs put in the other's womb, so while the children were genetically hers, the other had carried them and given birth to them, so they were both the mother! :) This was pretty expensive though...
