We realise the RU-vid algorithm would support us more by splitting these 7 steps into 7 different videos, but that wouldn't be very useful for you!

I saved the step 7: got ignored by all schools but one, and that one school admitted me so quickly that I felt they did not even take a second thought...and happily that school admitted me is my top choice. What a experience.

how come this video only have 1,200 view..I think this is one of the best MBA video i have ever watched and frankly Angela's personality in the video really shines. She's so fun to watch and i love her because she's so candid yet funny at the same time. Great work!

Yeah sorry about that! We made MBAmo a private resource for our paid students and clients about a year ago. But if you go to careerprotocol.com/join you can still get lots of awesome free resources and guidance!

I have a question. I’m currently deciding between ASU and GCU. ASU’s program is actually pretty good and GCU’s not so much. People are telling me that due to GCU not ranking highly and being a for profit school, I’d likely not get much return on investment and get into high up positions. Is this true? GCU’s requirements are low and it’s a lot cheaper but I have limited experience and want to place myself in a good position post MBA.

Follow the advice we have in multiple different videos about understanding a. what you really need to get from the MBA in terms of network, clout, and job opportunities for both your short and long term goals and b. investigating deeply what each school offers long those dimensions. The issue with for profit schools is that the MBA is a very squishy degree. Even the people who go to Harvard will have a hard time pointing to discrete and specific skills they gained in business school 3 years later. And it's not regulated so people can just throw together any kind of curriculum and slap the word MBA on it and charge a fortune and find customers. But that doesn't mean it's going to give you any of what you need. Even the educational experience might be crap, never mind the network, brand value to your resume, and post-MBA job opportunities. Pay particular attention to what job you want to do immediately after your MBA and how much you need the school to provide that opportunity to you via recruiting vs. whether you feel good sourcing it from your own network. If you are hoping that the school will really play a big role in helping you land your next job, it's possible neither of these schools will give you what you want, but ASU will almost certainly do a better job than GCU. The bottom line is you have to take your destiny into your own hands and so you need to form the most accurate picture of your ROI expectations in each case and make the decision accordingly. Good luck!!!
