Ah good to get some more information about the filters, already looked at some. Also an update on the order I had, the seller didn't even send it yet, because he didn't read my 2 week old email. Gonna buy from eBay now, like you told us haha. I also notice the big rain you got there, I had in the morning.

I have a couple of supergum NBC ABE1 P3 R gas filters. What will this type filter not protect you against?

I bought an abepk filter sealed, but expired in 2012. The particulate layer was very fragile in lose so I ripped it out from the bottom hole. I replaced it with stuffing it with toilet paper. And I will use the p3 stuff when it comes in the mail.

It seems that the m3 60926 filters do all the same thing as the nbc/ abek2 p3 minus the nuclear rating?

About 40mm vs bayonet filter. I found very cheap bayonet gas mask but none of CBRN filters have the bayonet system, all is 40mm. Do you have found one of them?

What does the ST mean on a filter? For example ABEK 2 HG/ST?

I want to say something. I'm a gas mask collector, and i want to say that: Full face mask=gas mask. You can attach gas and particle filters to both of them, both full face masks you shown have got a NATO RD40X1/7 screw, so they can use military filters. PAPR is just a gas mask with an air pump. It uses the same filters, do it doesn't give more protection. Only thing better with a PAPR is easier breathing. If you wanna know anything more, ask me, if i know, I will give you an answer.

I wanted to ask if you know (or if anyone reading this who has work or personal experience knows) whether bayonet type connectors are standardized from brand to brand? I ask because I need to find out if I can I purchase a face mask respirator from one company and use filter cartridges from a different company as long as they are both labeled as having the “bayonet” connection type? Due to the pandemic I am unable to find vendors who have a face mask from the same company who makes the exact filter cartridge type I need. Thank you in advance for your time and your help!

is the ABEK-P3 combi filter compatible with 40mm threads used by GP-4s? I also have a plastic adapter for larger filters that fits my old western filters, I assume its 40mm on that as well. very informative videos! I have some masks just for fun, but I'm planning on getting new filters to put in a prepper box and for use when I mix resin. Need a filter that fit either my GP5 or Swedish SM51(the one I use the adapter for).

I bought a filter from a site called spycatcheronline last year after buying the Forsheda from a different place, the site said it was the type 80 filter but the one they sent me has a black plastic casing and looks almost identical to the PA-12 filter by the company Shalon who also make the type 80. The only difference is the leak-proof plastic caps and attaching plastic bits are made from a clear plastic instead of black like the pictures on the Shalon website. it's unopened and still has the paper sticker on there that says to remove plug before use. It has a number laser printed on 11244, and I was told by the company that sold it to me the first and last numbers are the date of production. What I don't know is what this filter is rated for. I contacted Shalon via email, but they never responded. But from what I read on their website this kind of canister could be made for anything from • CBRN filter canister for emergency first responders designed to meet NIOSH CBRN standards. Provides protection against numerous toxic industrial chemicals, as well as military agents & particulates. • Tear gas filter canister for police riot control applications. Designed to protect against CN, CS and particulates. • Various filter canisters for industrial safety applications, such as A2-P3, A2B2E2-P3, A2B2E2K2Hg-P3 per EN standards, and OV-P100, AG-P100, NH3/MA-P100, P100 per NIOSH standards. Any ideas?
