Just wondering I've just purchased a 200 and waiting delivery, as im only 5ft 5 will i have trouble putting it up? Are you making a mozie front for it aswell? Cheers
Gaz Hood I’ll be honest I switched from my v2 brolly because I’m 6ft 4 and just wanted the extra height so got a xl hide but this new range is switching me back 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hello Trakker Time. In my humble opinion. The perfect size for a tent. 135H x 235D x 250W ??? Look for a compromise between 100 and 150 I think the ideal dimension would be. 150H 250D 260W. to TEMPEST ADVANCED 100 BIVVY add 10cm and brick success. Best wishes.
So when will the advanced 100 ever be available to buy iv been trying to get one for a year there consistently sold out due to stock - manufacturing issues might have to go aqua or Nash as these seem slightly more available 😢
Hi Nigel, those are both regular, full-sized beds - RLX Flat-6 Superlight Beds to be precise - it's just the sheer size of the Tempest 200 that makes them look small!
Keep your hands still mate, you are not in a martial arts movie!! Bit disappointed with trakker as many things such as heavy duty groundsheet and rain door come included in many other bivvies. Trakker prices are not cheap so making us pay extra for essentials is a bit off.
You guys should make an inner capsule for the tempest brolly 100. I just bought one but would love the have an Inner capsule to keep those bugs and snakes that try to creep inside while you are sleeping 😣
I really like the brolly i would like to invest in a new dpm one, i keep reading reviews though about crap elastic and poles breaking easier than they should, sort these issues out and i definatley want a 100 brolly, its a lot of money to spend on something that people say breaks easily
terry weedon there are loads of shots of the 200 throughout the video, but if you want to see it on its own in more detail, there’s a dedicated video on here too 👍🏼
Awesome video Gaz! I have a question about the tempest advanced 150 bivvy. Mine is ordered already, with the skull cap and the inner dome, but Is it compatible with the utility fronts? or will there be any utility fronts for the advanced 150? thank you
Should be nice to know, I would actually have the same question , just related to the advanced 100 bivy, since I bought it before the new models hab been anounced...
Hi, at present there are no plans to bring out Utility Fronts especially for the new Advanced models, however, the Utility Front for the Tempest V2 Bivvy System will fit the Tempest Advanced 100 Bivvy. Unfortunately, as the Tempest Advanced 150 Bivvy is taller than the old Tempest XL Bivvy System, the old Utility Front designed for the XL won't fit the Advanced 150. Hope that helps, Gaz.
Trakker Products the states heights for the 150 advanced and the tempest Xl state they are the same height just 5cm deeper and 5cm less wide is this the case
Great video👌👍Was really good to see big Dean Macey, miss him from the fishing progs on tv, where are you big man? Anyway I've got a Tempest Aquatex 150 with the skull wrap and inner capsule. What an amazing piece of kit. My only gripe is the price, although so far (1yr on) it has justified the exact cost. If it can keep this up for another 3/4years Then I will consider another.
Go outdoors pop up insulated 2 lay pop up tent £70. Listen to this bullshit that'll be £200, plus a cover and a ground sheet. That'll be £400 sir, gone are the days when tents were banned on lakes. So you had to use a brolly with a cover, the pop ups light, dual lined completely sealed so not bug nasties get in. Yet the price of these are 4-5 times more? I don't get it really
Just brought the 100t & waiting for delivery, does it come with quickstiks/stormpoles for front infill panel or do i need to buy them when i buy infill panel? Cheers
Hi, looking at the dimensions the advanced 100 is much smaller that the V2 bivvy and the 150 is much bigger. Looking at the dimensions with the inner capsule the advanced 100 will be smaller internally than the v2 brolly. To me the v2 bivvy looks the best option still dimensionally (v2 brolly user ATM) am I correct in what I’m reading before I look to buy one
cant see why on the advanced versions the skull cap is a extra should be free paying that kinda money i mean it's the price of a winter skin or normal bivvy yet it's just small top section,im tempted to buy the advanced 150 but having to pay extra for the skull cap just for a peak on the door is putting me off also it looks like you cant even get a skull cap for the 150 in the uk at all at the moment ffs
Hi Stefan, the Skull Cap for the Tempest advanced 100 Bivvy will fit your Tempest V2, however, as yet we have not produced a wrap for the newer models, but there's a good chance you'll still be able to pick up one of the old Tempest V2 Bivvy System Wraps if you shop around at stockists.
Did I miss the part where Gaz covers the difference in the weight of each bivvy? What do they weigh exactly? Surely this would be good information. Another point - can the inner capsule be left in place when closing the bivvy down? I don't recall this being clarified.
Hi Harry, exact weights for each shelter can be found on the product page of the website for each one. Regarding leaving the Inner Capsule inside the shelter for pack-down, this can be achieved, although it does take some practice to get it all packed down neatly, given all of the extra material you are folding into the shelter.
Hi Chuck, take a look at our Tempest Brolly 100T. It has our most compact footprint, on-par with that of the Tempest Brolly 100. Unfortunately though, it doesn't have the option for a full inner capsule, but you can add a groundsheet and insect panel at the front to keep most creep-crawlies out. Other than that, you could take a look at the Tempest 150 Bivvy Aquatexx EV - this has a larger footprint, but DOES have the option to fit an inner capsule. Hope that helps? Team Trakker
@@abazza9918 Hi Baz no I didn't get round to it as my shoulder operation is coming through any week now. I'll have another look when Ive had my op and fully recovered.
such a Great explanation Gaz. All what we need to know about all details 👏👏👏 well done. I'm impressed. And I'm looking forward to see more reviews about Trakker products.
So the 100t is the footprint as the brolly (v2) and the advanced brolly, why do websites advertise it as the same footprint as the advanced 100, will the 100t defiantly fit my brolly v2 groundsheet?
@@gazhood9142 Cheers mate, this is where its confusing: Angling direct for the 100t Dimensions: 150H x 235D x 250W cm Tempest v2 brolly: Dimensions: 125cm H x 230cm D x 250cm W The Depth is different, so wanted to make sure :)
