Just a crazy question, I guess, but why do you always score on the front side of the paper? I always score on the backside of the paper that way my folds go in, if that makes sense.
The biggest controversy in paper crafting history is which way to score the fold! Lol. I always score on the front and then fold away. But either way works. I just find it works best this way for me!
I love all my template books I bought from you. However, today I created my very first slimlines (both mini and regular), using the measurements given to cut at 6 1/2 x7 1/2 for the mini, and 8 1/2 x 7 1/2 for regular slimline, so with the measurements for scorelines I kept messing up at the 3 1/2 inch score lines as my fold was off by about 1/4-1/2 inch? After messing up third one I finally measured where the score line should be and it was 3 3/4 inches? So both sizes of the slimlines where it says “On the 11 inch side, score at 3 1/2 inches” in the book, I put an X over it in pencil to change it to 3 3/4. I created 10 slimline and 10 mini slimlines by correcting those measurements. I followed everything to a tee on the cutting part so no issues there. Am I loosing my mind or is it a typo? lol Also, I have’nt created the envelopes for them yet. Going to try those at another time. The book I used was Jen-velope Template Reference Book 2.0.
You're not crazy! There were errors in both the slim line and mini slim line card base templates. I appreciate your patience and dedication to figuring it out! I have since sent off an email to anyone who has ever purchased my Jen-Velope template book and sent a revised updated envelope book. Thank you for being so wonderful 😊 you should receive that email today as well!
Thank you so much! ❤ I’ve been trying to figure it out and thought I was loosing it, lol. I love your tutorials so very much! I’ve been making my own A2 envelopes now and I love it! You’re the best! 🥰
