Bravo!!!! This is in my top three piano pieces ever, and I fantasise about playing it someday (at the moment am learning half of the Military Polonaise), to me, it contains all of human emotion, almost Chopin writing a three act opera!! You play with authority and power where it's called for, then lyrical tenderness in other parts, you cover the full range so well, including the fiery Coda!!! Again, bravo!!! 🎹🎵🎹🎵🎹🎵🎹🎵🎹🙂🙂🙂🤗🤗
Thank you for your insightful and supportive comments! This was taken the evening before I performed it at a festival on a Bösendorfer concert grand. A nice video of that performance was created, and I'm trying to figure out how to load it onto RU-vid. Good luck with your continued studies. I feel the same way as you do about this Ballade and started trying to play it 36 years ago. It's been a labor of love these many years.
