Also how hard is the coda in terms to other peices you've learnt because I'm about halfway done and I was wondering how much time it will probably take until I play it in a competition
If you really like it, I am sure you don't play it perfect to enjoy this master piece ^^ Personally it is my first piece on selflearning(took 6 months to "finish", now it has been 2 years ago but I still come back sometimes.
No doubt , you are among most gifted young pianists. A notable interpretation for such a youn age. A very difficult piece even for advanced pianists, with a hard introduction and so complex melodically. But i feelt a deepest relaxation , complete control, clarity of octaves, beautiful expression, a good time management, not too fast , not too wild , not too low,, great contrast between the loud and soft, your focus did not was only on technique , but also on the artristry, on the sensitivity of piece, with sober melancholy , lyricism , even tragedy with a devasting coda ( not only emotional but as a possible derailment of fingers). Listening the recordings of many great pianists , you can feel different aproaches of it. And i admire the liberty you took to give your own mark.. As Chopin sayd " Put all your soul in it , play the way you feel"
well, I wanted to add some unique additions to the piece and the overall feeling of the build up made me want to do it :) I think it's a nice personal touch to it! ❤❤
Phenomenal, you play better than quite a few of the professionals. Personally I enjoy your unique style and phrasing which makes it stand out a lot. I hope you make it far in the world of classical music
