Samuil Feinberg the man who made the GREAT ALEXANDER GOLDENWEISER (HIS OWN MASTER!) COWER IN FEAR!!! SAMUIL FEINBERGGGGG BRAVO!!!! THE MAN PLAYS WITHOUT BAR LINES!!!
His beethoven is the best I have ever heard. His chopin is good but russain, which means it does not have much aristocratic sense but more intellectual. I miss the nobility like in Cortot, though he has really good rubato.
What’s wrong with an intellectual sounding Chopin? Chopin is so integrated in the repertoire of the great Russian masters, like Feinberg Hofmann and Rachmaninoff. I see both intellectuality and aristocratic in their playing
@@DynastieArtistique There is nothing wrong for sure. Only I prefer the aristocratic style more. Russians play very differently than polish pianists. Though they are similar comparing to modern approaches. Polish pianists have more noble feeling as in Koczalski, Friedman, Smeterlin. Hofmann, also a polish, sometimes has, sometimes is egoistic probably due to his unstable mental status. They are more like 19th century architectures and russians are more like early modern architecture with good intellectual design.
