Have you heard this played by Horowitz? There's a performance posted by "shrinkingglasses" which is exquisite. (If I had a quibble - though it's a bit presumptuous even to quibble - I thought he could have slowed down the middle section a little.) A poster there said it was recorded 4 days before Horowitz's death at 86.

Sim, concordo contigo em parte. Existe uma grande diferença entre uma pessoa ter nascido com um “DOM” e outra que ao longo da vida perceber que tem “HABILIDADE” para um determinado propósito. Ambos terão que se dedicar intensamente para atingir o nível proposto. Acredito também que a pessoa que precocemente já demonstra espontaneamente facilidade para executar uma tarefa especifica alcançara esse nível em um tempo menor; enquanto que a outra terá que se dedicar um tempo maior e mesmo assim ficará na média. Quero deixar claro que minha opinião é de quem gosta de música, não para questionar critérios técnicos.
